The Thunderbird dates back from his days in Hawkwind. It used to have psychedelic stickers on it. It seems to have been in his possession during the early days of Motörhead although he didn't use it until '87 or so on stage. It seems to have ended up in Dimebags hands so it must be with the Abbot family now.
I read an interview where lemmy was sayin tthat you had to be a giant to play the thing so he sold it to dimebag Darrell which didn't make sense cause dimebag was shorter than he was

I saw them in 1988 for the "Eat The Rich" tour and in Quebec City, I saw them open up for Alice Cooper at that time.
