They skipped so much on the Frostnova backstory that shows how much worse of a government Ursus was. Frosty's parents were wrongfully imprisoned due to the oripathy police using their opposition against the government to imprison them by faking their oripathy, they then drew the death lot when she was 5, her grandmother drew it when she was 9, and her when she was 11. When she was about to be executed, that's when her arts manifested, though not enough to stop the armed Ursus soldiers, only for Patriot to show up last minute. The reason why the prisoners were drawing lots was simple: The guards did not want to be stationed there anymore. So they decided to kill off the prisoners to go home, with the first idea being the death lottery, and in Frostnova's case, decided to just murder everyone there as they ran out of patience. Additionally, there's an extra scene while they were buried with Frosty suggesting a bet that if the Yetis dig them out first, she will kill him, but if RI reached them first, RI can kill her (if I recall correctly), but with both factions helping, that bet never pushed through.
"FUN FACT" There are more than 50 events and multiple sequels to those perspective events and the real ''EVIL'' villains are less than 10. Even some messed up events have the story lines where there were reasons to be messed up and the villains were not evils.
Hoederer killed Scout in Chernobog. Welcoming new operator, Hoederer! Even Leizi was in this episode, RI operators btw, a lot of nuances, but still RI operator.

Imo, many episodes in this season missed so many scenes, and kinda rush in many way. But, I think still good enough to catch the main story line especially for non game player, I always enjoy your reaction since you can catch up with what happen in every episodes. Keep it up until the last bro.

And Reunion is doing a terrorist act. We feel bad for Reunion because we know their backstory, but still, LGD gotta do their job to protect their city. For the red cloak people there, they are from Yan (Yan is the country name, Lungmen is just a big city. Yan is a China counterpart while Lungmen is Hongkong). Yan know something's going on in Lungmen and send them to monitor the situation. If Lungmen cant do anything with the situation, the people from Yan would do it. Lungmen already sent the blackcloak to do the "job" which is why those Yan people not doing anything for now.

In the original story of Chapter 5, they did help the LGD to defend Mephisto's crazy herd attack although they were ordered not to interfer, the yellow hair lady even cast a AOE arts and burn those zombies alive, and warn those LGD polices "you saw nothing, I did nothing, okay?" And in the original Chapter 6, it was Blaze that attacked the red coats, suspecting them relating to the black coats, and they bascially said "Infected, if we don't know you are with R.I. you will be in great trouble. We could accuse you for related with Reunion." And Ch'en bascially showed up and said "You have no authority to investigate my collaborators." Not sure why the anime make their dialogue villain-like.

Check out Mephisto, he wasn't a psycho back then but now he was; Lyudmila, blindly revenges anything she found connection with her father's death; Skullshatter, bascially blindly listen to Talulah's slogan and attacked multiple cities as terrorist without any insight of their future. Sympathy with the infected is a luxury proving good heart, yet not many people living in Terra in 1097 pay for it. The hate and fear "normal people" felt make them isolate those have stones inside, it has been a global discrimination for over a thousand year in Terra history.
