Hey Mr TAYM, thanks for the mention and showing my photo 😀 My brother has just helped me fit the belt drive conversion to my Super Meteor, I'm wrapped 😁 I'm up near Cairns getting ready for the ride back to Tassie. Cheers, Felix🍻
Morning Mr TAYM. Many thanks for the mention……I do like to tease people 😂. The picture AS put up by Ullswater, happens to be exactly the same spot my photo was taken 😎. Great mutter, but the Giraffe needs to ride a Guerrilla, as do you 😉, preferably one which has been run in so you can give it some 😎 Cheers
Thank you TAYM. Words I never thought I’d use to the TAYM! 😱 I had arranged to go to see it near Cirencester before you’d put someone else’s Sloper on! Thought, is TAYM psychic? 🤣And yes seat height is perfect 24” but the kick start could be slightly lower! 🤣 Needs jobs doing to it so I’m happily playing in my workshop. Amazed I started it as when I looked at it properly I realised, 1) the choke, which didn’t seem to be working actually was and 2) I hadn’t been setting the advance/retard properly at all as they were swapped over! Took me a little while to work that out! 🤣
Wonderful bikes in those photos and the video! Yeah, I'm back from my duties. 😁 The weather is very warm and sunny here on the West Coast in the US as well. Time for the pinkster to get back on a bike. Thanks for the video Mr TAYM. Everyone, have a great week!
Thanks! 👍Always fancied an old bike! Especially with hand change gears. 👍 I think most of us with motorcycling ancestry have similar pictures. I have one on my grandfather on his Triumph in the ‘20’s but have never quite worked out which model? 🤔🤣
@@daviddavies5347 David I agree re old unidentified motorcycles in family photos. I might post the photo to TAYM see if anyone can identify the bike. Love that BSA, I always wanted a WLA Harley and when I was a little kid there were old war Harleys and Indians on most farms. If only we knew hey. New Zealand is full of lovely old bikes languishing in farm sheds. Might get RR to do a bit of bike detective work.
I take my old triumph thunderbird out tomorrow night down to Trago Mills bike night in Merthyr Tydfil wales the last one this year. I am sorry to say. I can't go far because my wife is not very well. Anyway great videos.
Morning TAYM, you're right there about the 650 Classic resemblance with the Shotgun 650, a bit of a paint job change to Gunmetal grey matt, and the tank from the Super Meteor and it's similarities to my Classic 350 becomes very apparent, 👍 , I was at a dealers I go to asking about the Classic 650's arrival, and he just grinned and nodded towards a Shotgun and said its here already really, 😅, so there you go eh! Thing is it will never be the bike that the 350 is , or the character. Have a good week. Cheers Mel 🍻
A great mutter to start the week with some lovely photos, can't wait to see the final Stoneham Barnes video to see what turned up. Royal Enfield have pulled a flanker, they've simply taken bits from two bikes they couldn't sell and bodged them together. I suspect many people expected something more along the lines of the 350 and 500 Classics 😮😯🤔😕
Completely agree, if that’s their best effort I will be more than disappointed. A vehicle check doesn’t show a model 🤔 so I don’t think it is 😁 thanks GW 😁
Nice one TAYM ohh my favorite and the model I favor of the GT750 in the GS colour what a beauty ,😛I thought that 650 classic pic was very like a Shotgun and I reckon Royal Enfield should put that 450 engine into the Hunter how good would that be 😉.Some fab photos especially those custom Harley's in Bovey Tracey they did look cool much enjoyed cheers .👌👍
Thanks Crumb 😁 exactly right, if that is the Classic I think they’ve made a mistake 🤔 to me me it looks nothing like one😁 it will be far too heavy as well. 😕
That is such a lovely colour, thunderstorms in Wolverhampton, very heavy rain and some floods. Nights have drawn in but I got good water proofs so will be riding all winter ☀️🌈🌪️❄️
😂😂😂😂 thanks Keith 😁😁 yes, Mrs TAYMs fault, she insists on kissing me goodbye through the visor 😁 she calls it a helmet kiss 😂😂😂 I tell her not to repeat that 😂😂
Morning TAYM, loved the Yamaha 650 😍 weather is abysmal here at the moment, fingers crossed it might improve so we can get out after work later in the week 🤞🏻 cheers 👍🏻😀
Thanks Taym really enjoyed this mornings mutter, interrupted by Derek phoning, but that's was good 😊 loved the Kettle and Classic together, isn't the Kettle over 40 years old xx
The Kettle was one of the last built in 1978 so TAYM was right as I told him it was 36 years old 😂 I must say though I much preferred riding my Classic, covered a total of 180 miles by the time I returned home at 5:00 pm having left home just before 9:00 that morning, last Thursday the last of the nice days last week. 😊
Taym if you buy the gs450e have good for oil leak from were the front sprokit is there is a oil seal behind it a common failure happens at this point I had the gsx400t which this happen too which has the same engin in 50cc less

Quickshifter is thirsty if go hard out through gears Throttle doesn't need to be blipped from 2nd-6th 100kmh is 5000rpm as Speedtwin 900 is 3250rpm at 100kmh but only has a 12L tank & I like to leave 1.5L in tank so only really gives me 10.5L of usable fuel ⛽️ so 230km with a 1.5-2L left in tank.
