Excellent choice of trailer, know as the Pullman of trailers, they ride well even full of Harley and kit, also used for all manner of chores, furniture removal and collecting Logs for the fire, the expense is well worth the quality, we used ours in a similar fashion as you intend to do, our Campervan tows this Debon with ease to all of our long distance favourite places and park upon chosen camp site and off we go, fantastic, all the bike kit is stored also keeping our Campervan clutter free, only one issue , especially if you keep your Debon outdoors the roof tends to become bleached by the elements, keep it well polished(which I am sure you will or purchase a well made cover, a new skill to learn, maybe, reversing said trailer, if you are versed in the art of reversing congratulations, if not there is an easier method? Ride safe and enjoy.
One bit you missed out if you head south with bikes in trailer you don't get cold but the biggest one for me is you don't get your pride and joy covered in nasty road salt . Brilliant idea 👍

Nice, We did the trailer thing 3 years ago. Went the toy hauler route, it has a bed in the front. Makes traveling much easier. Always have a few motorcycles with us where ever we go. Cheers!
Nice looking trailer, Andy. Food for thought. I'll be interested in the plans you mention when it's time to divulge details. I think about getting a trailer every now and again so maybe, one day, I'll be pulling the trigger on a purchase myself.
Love the new trailer Andy. If you do plan on putting a hatch on the side, you could always serve fish & chips & advertise your shop as “The Missenden Fryer” 👌
Week in the saddle is a great strand for the channel, loving it. The trailer too is a good idea and like you say it opens up opertunities to use more bikes for you both.
I live in San Diego California and have a trailer for my bike. I have used it to tour as far away Seattle, a 1200 mile highway grind from my home. It has saved my body a large amount of discomfort and pain!🥶 You have made a wise purchase that gets better as you get older.👍
Another great episode of TWITS with so many news and social features. Hope you enjoy your Crieff Cloverleaf rides next year...four great riding days with amazing scenery, particularly if the weather is kind to you.
What a great idea purchasing the trailer. It should add an extra day or two to riding around your chosen area, or indeed, time to relax. Absolutely loved the latest episode of the 'winging it' tour. I can also confirm, up here in Scotland we have had our first 'soft' frost's of the year. Keep up the great work.
Brilliant new variation to your channel Andy! Your video production quality and sound is at its best and your storylines and trips are very creative and interesting! Keep up the great work and keep the videos coming, we love them!

This week in the saddle is a great addition to your channel nice little snap shots of what’s coming up. Trailers a great idea it will open a whole new direction for touring with you and Mrs Flyer. Remember and invest in some good security for the trailer sadly in this day and age its required.
Thanks for the Aoocci discount. I ordered one up for my "new to me" KTM 1290. It came to $CAD 136 including shipping. If these are as good as TH-camrs say it is a great value!
The new toy looks a great investment, TMF. Perfect way to get yourself and Mrs Flyer to your riding destinations in comfort and style. Loving the Winging It tour. Mont Blanc episode was spectacular. Breaking out the heated gear here in Japan too. Isn't there something lovely about riding in chilly climes yet feeling toasty ?
Love these video's ,Debon trailers tow great I bought one 4 years ago a twin axel it followed my camper van down to Spain for a 3 month tour.We took our Honda Forza 350 the trailer was crammed full of stuff lol Keep up the great work Andy and well done Carol
Hi !!! Greetings from NY. Love the channel. Never miss an episode. Something to consider. I have many many miles towing my GSA all around the US in a small singe axel trailer similar to the one you recently purchased. A flat tire on a single axle trailer and you are stuck wherever it happens. Side of a busy road. Somewhere with no shoulder to pull onto. At night. In the rain. Sketchy location. Speaking from experience, not at all pleasant. For this reason I decided to trade up to a tandem axle trailer. Now if I get a flat I’m not stuck wherever that happens. I’m able to continue on however long as needed to find a safe and well lit spot to change to the spare tire that I keep in the trailer. Also put Bluetooth tire pressure monitors on the trailers tires so I know if I’ve lost air in any of the tires to stay ahead of any problems. Love the peace of mind this has given me.
I’ve bought a 400 ex this year for exactly the reasons you stated, lighter, smaller, nimble at almost 69 years old I downsized to a motorcycle that will still do almost 100 miles an hour and almost everything else I want I recently took a 500 mile four day tour mostly on US highways and they’re not ideal. It wasn’t bad at all.
Congrats on the new trailer! Very nice. I've an open air folding trailer (I've added removeable sides) that has seen a lot of use (for everything, but mostly bikes). I recently obtained a storage solution for a single bike that's attached to my hitch, but have yet to use it (I'm a bit nervous about this one, but hope it works out). Yet another lovely cafe. I'm happy to hear that the misses will be joining you on some of your further jaunts. All the best!
Enjoyed this week’s TWITS ! We have had a Brian James trailer for a number of years. It fits my husband’s Harley Road King and my 1200 Sporster. We’ve taken it a few times to the South of France as there is a Harley & Goldwing rally that takes place end of August/beginning of September (Brescoudos). We love riding in the South of France and without the hassle of having to ride on UK motorways and in UK weather to get to the port !
My wife and I did the same thing, then she decided she was done riding, so our trailer carries our e-bikes now 😂. Hoping she’ll reconsider in the future. In the meantime I still enjoy touring.
Don't for get a spare tire for trailer, jack and lug nut wrench that fits. Additionally a grease gun for trailer bearings. Finally a lock for the receiver and ball, I had two motorcycles stolen with my trailer a couple years ago.
Great trailer, Range Rovers do drive and tow so well, I’m a motor-trader and the L322 V8 is the only model I’ll sell as the V6 always makes me feel nervous. We are planning a similar trip next spring so I’m in the process of building a Sprinter into a camper van with room to put a motorbike and a couple of mountain bikes in. We’ve got a dream of driving down to Puglia, sleeping next to the sea and in the morning getting our bikes out to cycle to the local cafe for a cappuccino and a pastry
Thank you both! My brother that rides had a trailer for a few years as like you, he and his wonderful wife both ride. They had it done up to carry both of their Harleys and they used it (amongst other trips) for camping at Sturgis which they have attended for years now. I think you and your beloved wife will enjoy your new trailer very much. He no longer has the trailer as they both decided they wanted to either rough it a bit more or check into a hotel. But they now own four Harleys. A 2008 Road King, a 2016 FLHTP (now retired!) Police motorbike, a 2017 Softail Heritage in two-tone blue and creme white and the fourth bike is my former ride, a 2007 Sportster 1200 Low. Thank you for this video and as is my want, keep putting the great back into Great Britain! SS in the you know where, USA!
Took our little 350 Classic up to Scotland done an amazing 600 miles with out the Motorway slog from the midlands Love our cochet trailer It is an open one though Don’t forget your hitch lock for the trailer Strap down on the unsprung parts of the bike not the handlebars It’s a game changer 60 mph chill
When I was riding in the 70s,heated gloves, coats seats etc didn't exist,so when you got somewhere you were largely very white from the cold. Only really warm jacket I had was a WW2 style flying jacket, that was super warm, about an inch thick sheepskin. Even on a cold day you could get away with only a tee-shirt on under it.
@TheMissendenFlyer no idea, got it out of exchange & mart back in the 70s,think I paid £70 for it. Sadly I have suffered from corporate spread & it's several sizes to small now.
A little tip that might be useful for the bikes in the trailer is to buy three lengths of alloy channel and fix them to the floor ready for two or one bike configureation, that way they will help prevent the bikes from jumping sideways when towing. Also the tie down straps will not come lose.
What a lovely thing to leave to some money behind the bar so to speak. The trailer looks very sleek and a great idea. Lovely to see Mrs Flyer riding, she looks very confident now.
Hi Andy-Sure enjoyed this episode of "This Week in the Saddle." Congratulations on the trailer, too! Sounds to me like great strategy. And you'll always be fresh to ride in those special places that you travel to. I'll email you a photo or two of my garage here in Wisconsin and the collection of bikes that may be interesting to your viewers. Hope to have the newest one here in the next month so I'll do that photo after its arrival. All the best to you! Mark
Loved the feature on the trailer ,im thinking of living in a motorhome full time /travelling when i retire and want to have my bikes with me so a trailer is part of the plan so good to see you have got one ,yours will look awesome with your TMF LOGO on both sides, 👍🏍️
Excellent choice sir. I used a Debon C500 last year to tow my GS and a friend's MT-07 all the way from London to Scotland and back. The idea was to ride the motorbikes for NC500 and drive for the boring motorway trek. I would suggest that you invest in a couple of good quality front wheel chocks to keep the bikes stable while transporting them. Although it is possible to strap two bikes securely in a trailer, I have found it to be a bit tricky as it is hard to move due to the limited space. What worked for me was staggering them a bit so one bike was right at the front and the other bike was a bit behind. Also consider getting good quality ratchet straps.
Snap! We've got an Ifor Williams trailer on order for the same purpose. Got contacts around Europe we can leave the car/trailer with. Not sure what we are going to do about hotels en-route though🤥. Loving the TWITS videos btw
I'm a fan of JLR products (I must be I also own another as a fun car) - they do have a poor reputation and you need to be on top of maintenance - that old Range Rover has taken me too and from the South of France in great comfort on many occassions over the years - as did the one I owned before that (before it blew up!!)
@ well done. The old Range Rovers great I wouldn’t have a modern one if you gave it to me. My Old Defender has done 200k and only serviced by me. Landrover dealerships are as unreliable as Range Rovers.
Nice. Sunday morning surprise. If you find the trailer works well. Go full North American. Trade the range rover, caravan and trailer in for a truck 5th wheel and toy hauler. 😀Hope it gets you to many new places you might not otherwise have gone. Enjoy the ride.
@TheMissendenFlyer I reckon so... I personally didn't watch the previous bike news videos as the one or two I started watching seemed a little long winded. I think 20-30 mins is the sweet spot for TH-cam videos, just my opinion of course, keep up the great work

I really enjoy this format you have developed, as it gives variety. The Royal Enfield Guerilla looks good. Enjoy your trailer. Good idea. I have just prepared a bike trip around the southern end of the South island in New Zealand. The ride into Milford Sound is an epic ride which I have done three times already in the last 12 months. Youn use Lake Te Anau as a base and it is 1.5 hr ride in the mountains to Milford Sound, depending on the weather as it has a very high rain fall. It is either beautiful blue skies in there or absolutely heavy rain. At least you can tell from the base of Lake Te Anau. Usually take the BMW R1200R or my V4 Diavel
The cost of travelling down here would be a big factor for consideration. A GS BMW would be an ideal bike to travel on here and it is a very popular one with the rental company. The South Island is more majestic and less populated and preferably Feb to April is the best months when not too busy on the roads and the weather is pretty stable. It is the more popular of the islands for riding. You could also include the Australian island of Tasmania as well, as it is very picturesque and a great motorcycle destination. @@TheMissendenFlyer
Ha Range Rover is not going to have issues with towing any trailer is it a TDV8 ,, I've one two horses on the box no problem,, glad you got it 👍👍👍👍👍☘️☘️☘️ from northern Ireland
I must admit when I got mine I was in two minds about it honestly its proven to be quite fantastic. I have my business logo on the trailer and the van 🚐 it’s not white by the way we can stay overnight in the van. I can carry petrol in the trailer and all bike gear as well. Since the new Suzuki DRZ4S has come out I stopped renting and testing bikes and will most definitely get two S units to fit in the trailer. Small light and with support trailer we can lock and leave has proven worth it. Having a support vehicle is fab get a Portable BBQ and a Nespresso machine you can use it for the rides even change the tyres
@ It seems the Enfield gang can’t put a foot wrong, everyone was excited about the new DRZ, Enfield new 650 Bear 🐻 dropped and is now in dealerships Early. For an astonishing $11K AUD
Been out on my GS both yesterday and today (Sunday) and its getting cold here in North Yorkshire. 2 hours in the saddle and frozen despite layers, heated grips and seat. Loved it all the same but maybe time to invest in some heated clothing. Enjoying this new slot👍
The trailer looks fan-f-ing-tastic for stuffing bikes into. Perhaps not the Wing and Carole's Kawa, but it should be more than ready to take on other combinations. 👍
What a lovely surprise a TMF Twits video on Sunday, with I have to say some very interesting stuff, that Aoocci navigator what value, love the Royal Enfield. But the best idea is the trailer, especially with your shoulder problem it makes perfect sense, and just think those runs to the local refuse centre it could be a god send for the big stuff you may want to get rid of. Thank you.
Not at the rates they charge for taking a trailer at our local dump!! Though I agree, having an enclosed trailer is quite handy for lots of stuff, not just haulin' bikes....
Fantastic video again Andy and Carol . We are looking for a trailer for our Motorhome as we have 2 bikes a Honda NT1100 DCT and a Royal alloy 300 . Like you said it saves on those long motorway hauls . It makes good sense on your purchase and I love that you called the Range Rover the Brummie Bus , we are from Birmingham and it’s the first time I have ever heard that saying. Great work guys 🏍️👍
When getting my new bike i checked out the Guerrilla, the Triumph 400s and the Kawasaki Eliminator before choosing the later. My old bones were more suited to its low seat mid pegs stance and its Japanese quality swung it for me. The RE came second and the Triumph 3rd, but it's all personal choice we're all different. Great twits again Andy, loving this format.
Glad you've taken on board my suggestion of F-Wits! 😂😁 The trailer is a great idea I think. My friend has a box trailer and we have used it to take our little two-stroke bikes to a Vintage festival weekend a couple of times. The little bikes are great fun - but NOT enjoyable on a long slog on big main roads! I keep thinking about getting a trailer too, just so I can take the Interceptor away for me and Mrs SteveW to ride once we're at the destination. She loves riding pillion but has no interest in doing the whole "motorcycle tour" thing - but would happily ride around locally once we got there. Might have to take the plunge and get one! 🙂
love the trailer. I've pondered getting one from time to time, just don't have a place to keep it at the house. I've rented on occasion. Have on of those stand up trailers that tucks away in the garage, but an enclosed trailer would be awesome.
I had a look at the same model Debon trailer at my local country fair a couple of months ago. They're really nicely put together and although not cheap, they're fairly sensibly priced against the competition. Nice purchase Andy.
@@TheMissendenFlyer Indeed. There's nothing else really in that size and price bracket that's anywhere near as nice or well featured. IWT are made about 30 mins from me, but your choice is either a simple box or something twice the size.
If you can make it to Moss End try coming a bit further on a Wednesday and visit the Jacks meet-up at Blackbushe from 10.30am to around 3ish. Bit of rider scran.
Your a £1000 out the Guerilla they start at £4,850 to the top model £5,050
Beat me to it!
Whoops!
I got all excited for a sec, cheque book back in the drawer

He no longer has the trailer as they both decided they wanted to either rough it a bit more or check into a hotel. But they now own four Harleys. A 2008 Road King, a 2016 FLHTP (now retired!) Police motorbike, a 2017 Softail Heritage in two-tone blue and creme white and the fourth bike is my former ride, a 2007 Sportster 1200 Low.
Thank you for this video and as is my want, keep putting the great back into Great Britain!
SS in the you know where, USA!
Took our little 350 Classic up to Scotland done an amazing 600 miles with out the Motorway slog from the midlands
Love our cochet trailer It is an open one though
Don’t forget your hitch lock for the trailer
Strap down on the unsprung parts of the bike not the handlebars
It’s a game changer
60 mph chill
I appreciate every vid you do . Thank you
You are very welcome
Very enjoyable. Love this format. Who doesn’t like a trailer ?! 🤣💪🙏🏍️
An Irving per chance? Still the choice of British Tiger Moth pilots.....
@TheMissendenFlyer no idea, got it out of exchange & mart back in the 70s,think I paid £70 for it. Sadly I have suffered from corporate spread & it's several sizes to small now.
Oh dear - you can but new ons but they are uber expensive....
@TheMissendenFlyer yes,around £600.
Golden era of motorcycling was for me the 80's, today no not really...but looks more interesting today than 10 years ago for some strange reason.😅
Yes she's got the bug - I caught her gazing at her bike in the garage a few days ago...
Mark
Cheers Mark!
Loving this new video format . Keep up the good work Andy . Mrs flyer rides her z650 really nicely too . Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it
I do it the other way round, Bike in the van and tow a folding caravan to live in whilst on holiday. But whatever works for you. It’s a nice trailer.
Hi Andy 👍 great purchase and an extra space in the garage 😉🤣..... Make sure you alarm it bud....Carol is an inspiration 🫂👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Well done with your trailer purchase Mr and Mrs Flyer. It makes a lot of sense. Look forward to watching your adventures using it.
Yes looking forward to dragging it somewhere interesting!
Loved the feature on the trailer ,im thinking of living in a motorhome full time /travelling when i retire and want to have my bikes with me so a trailer is part of the plan so good to see you have got one ,yours will look awesome with your TMF LOGO on both sides, 👍🏍️
I did think about that but thought better of it (maybe best not to draw attention to the trailer on tour!)
Very entertaining Andy. Driveway filling up nicely!!
Glad you enjoyed it
Excellent choice sir.
That's exactly what I have done......should ahve shown then I guess!
Another great video has always Andy and carol 👍
Cheers Tony!
Snap! We've got an Ifor Williams trailer on order for the same purpose. Got contacts around Europe we can leave the car/trailer with. Not sure what we are going to do about hotels en-route though🤥. Loving the TWITS videos btw
Great minds....
That new home camera quality is excellent!
Glad you think so! (I agree, great F1.4 lens)
Also super useful for general moving stuff about! Great idea
Sat on the guerilla 450 at the NEC bike show, great looking bike, I'd have one as a fun summer bike.
The trailer might make it to the south of France but good luck with the Range Rover. You are a brave man Andy. 😅
😂
I'm a fan of JLR products (I must be I also own another as a fun car) - they do have a poor reputation and you need to be on top of maintenance - that old Range Rover has taken me too and from the South of France in great comfort on many occassions over the years - as did the one I owned before that (before it blew up!!)
@ well done. The old Range Rovers great I wouldn’t have a modern one if you gave it to me. My Old Defender has done 200k and only serviced by me. Landrover dealerships are as unreliable as Range Rovers.
I really do enjoy this format. Great trailer too. Very slick indeed.
Thank you for watching!
Nice. Sunday morning surprise. If you find the trailer works well. Go full North American. Trade the range rover, caravan and trailer in for a truck 5th wheel and toy hauler. 😀Hope it gets you to many new places you might not otherwise have gone. Enjoy the ride.
Yes we are considering something like that for the future….
New opportunities to put adverts on the trailer!😊 Enjoying these vids.
...maybe not....
Love the new format
Love the format of these videos Andy, great to see Carol out and about on her bike too 👍
Really pleased people seem to like this format - might have to keep doing it!
@TheMissendenFlyer I reckon so... I personally didn't watch the previous bike news videos as the one or two I started watching seemed a little long winded.
I think 20-30 mins is the sweet spot for TH-cam videos, just my opinion of course, keep up the great work

Great stuff, enjoying this series. :)
One day I will ride in New Zealand!

Really enjoying the TWITS!
Great to hear!
Ha Range Rover is not going to have issues with towing any trailer is it a TDV8 ,, I've one two horses on the box no problem,, glad you got it 👍👍👍👍👍☘️☘️☘️ from northern Ireland
Yes I've towed plenty of heavy trailers behind various Range Rovers over the years - the best tow car I've yet come across...
Love the new addition. I think you need a motorhome next 😉Love ours
I already have a caravan!
This old crusty is in love with the f450 GS!
Great episode! Nice idea behind the trailer and ❤ the Rovah
Nice video.
Great video, and thanks for the code for the CarPlay, just ordered one with your code, looking forward to getting it on the bike.👍🏻
Awesome thank you!
Good fresh content, keep it up.
The best part about the new trailer is, you’ve got room to keep 2 more bikes 😎
A fact not lost on me!
@@TheMissendenFlyer I could tell by the glint in your eye 😉
Cool!
@ It seems the Enfield gang can’t put a foot wrong, everyone was excited about the new DRZ, Enfield new 650 Bear 🐻 dropped and is now in dealerships Early. For an astonishing $11K AUD
Great idea for the trailer!
this is such a better format 👌🏼
Glad you approve!
Been out on my GS both yesterday and today (Sunday) and its getting cold here in North Yorkshire. 2 hours in the saddle and frozen despite layers, heated grips and seat. Loved it all the same but maybe time to invest in some heated clothing. Enjoying this new slot👍
Yes I use a heated jacket from about December on - game changer....
The trailer looks fan-f-ing-tastic for stuffing bikes into. Perhaps not the Wing and Carole's Kawa, but it should be more than ready to take on other combinations. 👍
Yes I need to see what combos work!
No one is perfect Danny!! My Mrs is a Brummy so I know all about Solihull!!
@ at least us Brummies are ok Andy 😂
Really enjoying these Andy
Glad you like them Rod!
Excellent stuff!
Trailer-tastic and Twits-tastic. As promised I've deployed my new video scoring system and you have achieved 20/20, well done🤣
I'm well chuffed with that!
Thanks Ian.
Glad you've taken on board my suggestion of F-Wits! 😂😁
The trailer is a great idea I think. 🙂
Makes sense to me - and thanks again for F-WITS!
love the trailer. I've pondered getting one from time to time, just don't have a place to keep it at the house. I've rented on occasion. Have on of those stand up trailers that tucks away in the garage, but an enclosed trailer would be awesome.
Yes I had one of those but this is kind of the next level and is particularly easy to load via the shallow ramp….
I had a look at the same model Debon trailer at my local country fair a couple of months ago. They're really nicely put together and although not cheap, they're fairly sensibly priced against the competition. Nice purchase Andy.
Cheers! ...and I'm not sure there is any competiton is there (in the attractive trailer stakes, all the others I've seen are just boxes on wheels)...
@@TheMissendenFlyer Indeed. There's nothing else really in that size and price bracket that's anywhere near as nice or well featured.
IWT are made about 30 mins from me, but your choice is either a simple box or something twice the size.
NICE trailer. Impressive.
Nice that you’ll be able to take bikes with you to destinations you’d otherwise avoid due the motorway slogs like the Speed Twin.
Exactly!
If you can make it to Moss End try coming a bit further on a Wednesday and visit the Jacks meet-up at Blackbushe from 10.30am to around 3ish. Bit of rider scran.
Thanks for the video Andy 🛩️🏍️
No problem 👍
No problem 👍
Really enjoyed twits this week, interesting piece about the trailers would be good for storing bikes through the winter months as well, thanks.
A point that has occurred to me - like a mini garage alongside my garage!
looking forward to those future tours both nice trailer
Enjoyed that. I like this style of video, that trailer looks smart as well. Look forward to the next one 👍
Thanks 👍
