I made the spinach and bacon recipe for Christmas appetizers this year. They came out so good my guest didn’t believe I made them, lol. All I can say is they devoured them. I made them again for New Year’s Eve and same thing, devoured lol. I did roll them up the long way and chilled it before cutting so they came out smaller and were pretty cute as an appetizer.

I've just stumbled onto your video while looking for a savory puff pastry recipe. Yours looks so delicious I think I've made up my mind that this is THE recipe for me! Well done, not too chatty, right to the point. Excellent!

Great stuff...yum! I’m wondering if you rolled the roll from the long end if it might make more smaller appetizer sized servings? Also, I always stick the entire roll in the fridge before I try to cut it, if not it presses all of the layers together too much. These both sound wonderful, thank you!

I had no idea there was such a puff pastry. I had only ever heard of the frozen ones. I'm gonna check my grocery store and see if they have them. Thanks for sharing!

I was feeling so grumpy and bad and your beautiful smile and facial expression just made it all go away 😊 Great recipes, thank you for speaking so sweetly! The Lord bless you dear 🙏. I use floss to cut the pinwheels.

This puffed pastry is so much better then the frozen one. I just discovered their pie crusts and I will never go back to the other brands.

Yes!! It is. I love this brand. I was so upset with myself this thanksgiving because I waited too late and it was sold out everywhere locally.

I think I would also get a lot of the water out of the spinach first too. Can’t wait to try it!

Wonder if I could use frozen spinach n wrong out the water. Bet it would work

  • @claudiaengland6716

Cuts easier if u chill the rolls half hour in fridge n use a serrated bread type crust knife n it cuts like a dream.

The spinach rolls seem too big for an appetizer. I would have rolled it from the width side to make more pinwheels, but smaller. The ones you make are nearly a meal itself. Appetizers should be small and petite little finger foods. Also, when cutting, use a serrated knife in a sawing motion. You'll get a better cut with your chilled roll.

Lol 8 ounces of spinach cooks down to a cup. 8 ounces is a cup
