The famous Winter Crow Roost in Lawrence, Massachusetts is something to behold. If you've never been, get it on your calendar to visit on a late afternoon / early evening in January or February, friends. You won't regret it.

Crows are known to roost communally all over their range, often gathering in the thousands and often in urban areas, too. This winter crow roost has both American and Fish Crows on site (listen carefully in the video for the nasally "caw" of the fish crows). And, if you like bird dropping and pellets, spend a little time on the roost site before the crows arrive (unless you risk getting pooped on).

Crows are very social, intelligent wild relatives of ours - like all the other wild kin we share space with on this planet. It's something to listen and watch them interact at a winter roosting site. Enjoy, folks.
