- This is a prototype wood gas fuel air mixing valve. The system will take an input from an automotive oxygen sensor and modulate the valve to keep a small engine running properly as the gasifier fuel bed changes in operation. To see more check out:

So the O2 sensor is going to regulate the air fule mixture? not heard of anyone doing that. Hope it works, question is will a automotive O2 sensor be compatible with your controller?
Hi. It is very common on the German wood gas forum and All Power Labs does this same thing on their Power Pallets.
sabbadess cool, I'm in the process of setting up a CNC table... once I get it going I want to cut out a gek 4.2v, all power labs has open source cad files,(I don't know if APL knows, but they do have some geometery issues on 1 or 2 parts in the cad files) I've already taken the cad and saved the parts as individual parts and have them nested, waiting on the plasma cutter and I'm good to go.
Thought it would be fun to play around with.
Sabbadess, that's really interesting stuff you're doing.. I'm planning to try to make one of your Constance design soon and this automatic controller is a really interesting side track.. About how much does it cost to put this thing together? I haven't had time enough to explore Arduino's, but they look like something I'd like to play with sometime in the future.. Thanks! B
Hi Bob...I am not sure. My winter wood gas project is going to be making a proper Arduino shield to hold all the goodies necessary to accept 14.1V and run the board, servo, O2 sensor.... Hi Dmytro...It's a "standard" size Futaba. It's the absolute most common unit I could find. I got three of them used on ebay for $12.
