Really liking the quality & detail of your explanations for every jump & tech! One thing I tend to tell people that I don’t think I heard you mention here, however, is to aim more down when pogoing up a ramp & aim more ahead going down. Going down a slope, your rockets would have to travel a little farther to reach the ground then it would be on a flat surface, so you probs gotta aim more ahead to let the rocket catch up to you. Opposite for pogoing up ramps.
Thank you! I'm happy I've reached as many people as I have :D So far my experience on TH-cam has shown me that putting out more helpful, well-thought-out videos helps me reach more people and teach them about rocket jumping!
Thanks for the video, I really was having a hard time with jump 14, and I think that the original is a little bit easier mostly because of the jump 13 with stock the precise pogo at the end of the track was really unintuitive and frustrating when I fail the jump I aim to the floor but the rocket was at the right, it took me sometime to get it used to.
it is absolutely way easier with the original, especially for a new player a person may completely lose their mind before they understand how the weird release angle of stock affects their jumps
eventually after about 5 or so rockets i just am too low and i hit the ground and respawn. is there a way to avoid this? i have tried shooting straight down to maybe get myself some more height (i am holding crouch the whole time)
Shooting straight down is exactly what you want to *not* do. After a few rockets, you start to gain speed. When you shoot a rocket, it takes a small amount of time before it gets to the ground, so if you're going fast enough, it lands pretty far behind you and doesn't give you much height. Try aiming further ahead, so by the time your rockets hit the ground they end up exploding beneath you. You'll be surprised how far forwards you can aim!
Yup! It's pretty easy for demo to launch all the way over the first several jumps, but I'd encourage you to try to learn how to pogo as demo. Try to either have one or two stickies on the ground at all times and use WASD to control your position. That way you'll have gained an important skill and be better prepared for the later jumps. Demo has a ton of mobility and can almost always do jumps soldier can (in fact, more often jumps are demo-exclusive and impossible for soldier). I'd like to put out a demo tutorial at some point, but I'm not working on it just yet.
You have to use The Original instead of the default Rocket Launcher. You can unlock it by getting soldier achievements, receive it as a random item drop, trade for it, get it from sites like scrap.tf or marketplace.tf, or buy it on the Mann Co store (which is more expensive than third-party alternatives but simpler, and it puts some people at ease).
@@theofficialthehomedepottmy9160 for 8 and 12 i spent a while looking at what the bot was doing and where it was aiming and i tried copying it until i got it down, now i can do them in 1 try
Jump 13 is kicking my ass
i have never raged so hard in my life XD
whoever designed 12 wanted me toend it all
Same

This video is so informative and the editing is excellent. This video should have more views

I can't express how difficult this is
Let's be honest, we're all here for jump 8
Jump 12 is hell
@@leaf9618 14
I was and then I figured out that you have to press d repeatedly when you're playing with stock
lmfao exactly i am
@@leaf961813
thanks a lot i was having trouble with pogo jump 8 but thanks to you i got trough it
I had to put your channel link as the description of my original so people would stop asking me how to do pogos 💀

Thank you for making these videos! They've been extremely helpful! ❤
Thanks, glad they're helping! :)
14 slow down to 0.25x and pay attention to the S key around 9:22
i dont know if you will see this but you really help me out and become a better player from it thank you
You are actually amazing, thank you for the very informative video!
ur channel is insanely underrated
Switch to the air strike for those ones. Those ones are even harder than the sync jumps you have to do next
it is absolutely way easier with the original, especially for a new player
a person may completely lose their mind before they understand how the weird release angle of stock affects their jumps
just what I needed after I gave up
Thx man, this vid is really useful it help me to use my brain in pogo
What is this map called I cant find it anywhere
thank you firestabber
Man your vids are so informative that's awesome 😎.
I am stuck on 8 :(

@@Firestabber thank you for this, I'm now able to do it a lot more consistently, and I am now able to clear the last level
So when I pogo, I strafe with A and D, but should I also move my mouse like in an airstrafe?
Yep! But keep in mind that when strafing, looking up or down doesn't matter, it's all about where you're looking left/right.
You are a godsend dude
jump 8 isn't just possible for me. I can't do it even after 1 hour of trying
I give up, my fingers hurt
I did it, but now I'm stucked on 12
TY SO MUCH!!!!!!
Thanks but i still can't do a pogo jump without mistakes, it's hard. My brain can't do so many moves in 0,5 seconds. I stuck on level 10.
it was hard for me until I realized you can literally just hold down m1 to constantly fire
yeah I'm kind of dumb
Nice Firestabber
I can’t help but hold w please someone help me
your the best
Jump twelve unironically made me give up trying to learn to rocket jump
im stuck on 12 lmao
bruh doing pogo with the rocket jumper is a pain
Can i do this pogo maps with demoman ?

how do I center my rocket launcher like you?

jump 12 is stupid hard
while im here, stuff like 13 is not 'beginner' level, its so frustrating
while im at it, 8 and 12 are stupid difficult, and if people like this keep getting stuck at 8 then why is it in the BEGINNER SECTION
@@theofficialthehomedepottmy9160 it's easy, you just need to learn and get better at the technique

It is beginner level. All things, that you need to learn are difficult.
