Ketamine Infusion Hospital Stay / VLOG : 9th - 17th May, 2024

- While I've had quite a number of ketamine infusions over the years to help with my fibromyalgia pain, this is the first time I've been to Southern Highlands Private Hospital. This vlog is to share my experience.
Please note that I eat a plant based vegan diet.
** I am an Aussie wife, mum of 2 humans and 2 dogs, living life with Fibromyalgia. I'm also a Vegan, Minimalist, Traveller, TH-camr and Disney lover. We are currently downsizing and selling our home to move into a new apartment.

Aww the way the boys reacted when they saw you was so sweet. I'm sorry to hear about Henry the you tube dog 😢 that was so sad. I fall in love with most pets I see on you tubers that I follow. I still think of Rosie and Bailey. ❤❤🐾 I hope you're feeling good now with no major pain/flares. Also hope you found some spare undies to wear haha
I know how you felt when Rosie & Bailey died now :-(. And they'd only had Henry for 7 months, you guys had years of seeing Rosie & Bailey in the vlogs. And when I got the weather was good enough to get all my washing done & dried so I had some fresh undies to wear :-).
Those meals look a lot nicer than in the other hospital. 🙂
Yes, the meals were better and there was more of. I'm not a big eater but I used to wonder how a man would manage on the small meals.
I am glad you had a private room with a nice view! I hope that you are feeling the benefits of the treatment! I wish it was available here. I am sorry about Henry! As another person already mentioned, I, too, still miss Rosie and Bailey and I couldn’t watch the videos about their deaths because I loved them, too. I felt bad for you that all you had to eat the last night was a bowl of soup and a salad sandwich. I didn’t understand why you didn’t get a real meal. The cafeteria should have been able to provide one. Not long now before you leave for Alaska! I hope you have a good and safe flight!
I'm doing so good after the ketamine. I don't think I mentioned being in pain once last week - well maybe once but I didn't start each day giving a pain report like I was before. I didn't order a meal the last night and until 3pm thought I was going home. I couldn't believe anyone thought a little bowl of watery soup would do for dinner !!! It was kinda funny really. Counting down sleeps now - just 2 to go.

Thanks Sue. Breakfast was okay as far as the food went but I just don't like eating first thing.
