  • IntraOp demonstrates Electron Therapy for the treatment of nonmelanoma skin cancers. Hospital-grade therapy delivered in the convenience of your local dermatology clinic.
As the proven pioneer in electron therapy, IntraOp® leverages its proprietary x-band technology to minimizes the cost of particle therapy with electrons, reducing the device footprint, and augmenting the availability of best-in-class non-invasive treatment for the millions of patients inflicted with nonmelanoma skin cancer.
Electron therapy is a convenient treatment for patients, requiring as few as 8 to 15 minutes at their local dermatology clinic. As a non-invasive solution, it produces no cutting or scars and patients may remain on prescribed blood thinners or other medications. It’s particularly well-suited for treating cosmetically sensitive areas such as the ears, nose, lips, or around the eyes. It’s also a perfect option for treating the lower extremities where blood flow can sometimes be an issue for some patients. There is no pain or discomfort.
Electron Therapy is delivered by IntraOp's Mobetron® device.

I believe this machine allows accurate, effective electron beam treatment for early skin cancers. I am privileged to be part of the team delivering this treatment at ForCare Dermatology in Tampa. I believe this machine ultimately provides excellent cosmesis and high rates of long-term early skin cancer control. As a note, with the streamlined process available at ForCare, many of our patients are only in our office for 5 minutes or less.
