- On our last day on Nantucket we had a great breakfast, explored the whaling museum, went to a thrift shop, and took the ferry back to the mainland and our vacation rental on Cape Cod.

I am SO in love with all the houses. That would be my dream.....to live in the oldest house! It would be so wonderful to have the shakes all over the outside. I've got the diamond windows, the rest is brick and wood and I have never liked brick. I'm thankful for what we have but would take a simple Cape Cod in a heartbeat. Again, thanks for taking us along. This would be on my bucket list for sure. xoxTX

Nantucket was so beautiful. I have been to Cape Cod in 1966 but never to Nantucket. The whaling museum looked so interesting as did the 1686 house. Your home in Hyannis is gorgeous and has everything for your family. I am really enjoying your vacation.

I’m sure there so many moving pieces to the puzzle and that what overwhelms me. Oh that’s so wonderful! It took a little time to source the rentals and we did that months in advance, but then I did a little research on activities just a week or so before we went. Plus we had been there before so we had that reference of things we had done that we wanted to do again. TH-cam and blogs were great resources for other activities we wanted to do!

Whereabouts on the island was your cottage. If ever I visit Nantucket I think I’d like to be in that area. We’re in the UK so when is the best time to visit. LOVED THESE VLOGS 💜

If you go back, I recommend visiting the whaling museum in New Bedford, MA. There is a true to size whale skeleton and other fun things for the kids.
