Actually many of them are identical because they are produced in the same factories, same specs, same employees, the only difference is they haven't been price inflated due to a name being printed on them by greedy companies. What you will see here is how badly you are being ripped off. Those Nike joggings that cost you 200, guess what they cost less than 10 cents to produce, and then when someone sells you the same ones for 10 without the label, you rally to the support of the companies ripping you off and then you wonder why your society is a mess?

China can provide expensive electronic products as well as cheap electronic products for different consumers. The products of Apple and SWITCH are too expensive, and some of Huaqiang North's products are imitation or second-hand renovation, which provides a great way to save money for the poor. 80% of the electronic products in the world are made in China, and the mobile phones and clothes you use are basically made in China. You can tell by the label.Only after I went to China did I realize that China is advanced and futuristic. The real China: "Very developed, cheap, cashless society, very green and environmentally friendly, very safe, no drugs or guns. The people are very friendly." It’s great to see your authentic shots of China in your videos.I am so impressed by this.

You can't complain with these prices. If you want brand name, you can try Xiaomi. I brought one of their wireless power bank almost 7 years ago. It still works. But the Japanese brand regular power bank I brought at the same time didn't last even 3 years. And I used the Xiaomi more often because it has wireless charging.

The HuaQiangBei area mainly does wholesale for the rest of China and International, so not really interested in small quantity tourist business. There wasn't much price mark-up (so no room for haggling) from the apple products you bought as they'd probably thought you're buying a sample and may come back to buy in bulk. Fake markets usually buy from HQB but would quote you say 600rmb for the watch and expect you to haggle down to 300.

    • @slayerbllade
      @slayerbllade 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

The best part is they are assembled by the same people who worked on those factories. They have a middle man who intercepts the reject products, move them to a warehouse and reconstruct a new product from the old ones (which are basically new btw since they came from production).
What you get is a product that is basically the same as what would have been sold for hundreds of dollars in the west.

You can actually distinguish them by simply looking at the prices. Like if the price is only 10% they are definitely fake ones but in some stores they do sell the real ones with close prices so. But the iPhone you saw from the store is likely to be a partially damaged second-hand iPhone so they cut the price down. Some people would buy those types of phones as a spare one or working phone.

For example, Toyota's Corolla car sells for 170000 yuan in Britain and only 90000 yuan in China. If you buy a car in China, it's still much cheaper than in the UK with the freight.

Maybe some of the products are not branded or not the name you’ve heard from the advertisements, which doesn’t mean they are “fake”. If you can afford higher prices then okay, go looking for the luxury items for the luxury price. Most people in the world seek for the affordability and then quality, Chinese products can provide you with both and that’s why made in China products are everywhere in the world, the market doesn’t lie. Moreover, if you want much more expensive items, there’re also branded products that possibly are from the same factory where you got your cheaper ones without the brand name.

Huaqiangbei is and absolute paradise for techies and geeks.
The Switch games are legit and even thought if the box says Chinese it will have English if the game has an English version.
Generally the super cheap stuff are knock offs or imitations, but the goods that are branded and packaged and are 10-20% off UK prices then they will be genuine. UK and Europe has inflated prices.

Most are third-party compatible products. All are actually good enough if you don't require much. After all, not everyone can afford the high brand premium.
The coolest thing about Huaqiangbei is that there are a lot of useful parts and components that people who are good at electronics can use to make many interesting DIY objects!
Chinese New Year is in a few days, so if you're still around I hope you've made arrangements. After all, there will be a lot less people in the big cities around Chinese New Year. Good luck with your travels.

In America, many americans are so propagandized, they pay over the odds for almost everything, some would defend corporations for making enormous profits, many practices are based only on profits, tipping for example is now the norm, not only you have to tip a certain high percentage for zero value added to the service in everything. Americans are practically trained to pay for everything. If the govt pass new legislation, saying americans have to pay a tax for breathing to be green, they would too...in the UK people have to pay to drive to London to stay green, total insanity, whilst politicians and oligarcs jets everywhere!!! I'm an Aussie who has lived in SZ for ten years now, and HQB is a regular place for locals (and local laoweis) to go for anything electronic. You DO have to be a bit careful because some of the fakes are trash, but there are some genuine resellers there who refurbish used parts into basically new products for a tiny fraction of the original price.
That said, Taobao is still just as good and more convenient. But with both of them available to us here, we're very spoilt for any tech!
BTW, my last tech purchase was a audioshokz style (bone conducting) set of sporting headphones with bluetooth, 32GB of built in RAM, and IP68 water/dust resistance. It's VERY good and cost about USD$40. Bargain!

The iPhone and game cartridge are real, but the iPhone is second-hand or has had its screen camera replaced, and the game cartridge is a parallel import from Hong Kong. It also has a watch with many functions, including sleep monitoring and blood oxygen monitoring. I even think it's more accurate than my apple watch, but the animation on apple watch is smoother.

The Apple phone you are looking at is genuine and a modified version from the United States. We removed valuable items such as the camera, face, and battery from the original product and sold them as genuine products. We replaced them with assembly parts to make a profit. This way, the American version of the Apple phone is cheaper. The phone is genuine, but the assembly parts are replaced
