Best moto channel I’ve come across in a long time! Simple, to the point, entertaining! Not overly complicated with a novel to go along with each bike part which keeps them at a good run time! Dudes aren’t trying to put on a front and I love the dry humor. #LEGENDS
You need to put some structured black paint on the frame! Little rugged style but not too much to fit the glitter tank. Some like Herculiner or Warnex. There are some brands that don't cost a fortune, have a try! If you'll do it I'll do it on my build as well, I promise, 😄. It's a LS650 (S40) Scrambler with a GT250 fuel tank, home made seat and an exhaust made of 1/4 of a Z1000, it might get through the German inspection one of these days...
Bring on the RUST !!!! My last build was built using stuff I had laying about ( even Simon commented saying it’s the best way to build one) and it will never be washed… or cleaned, can’t wait for it go get grimy 😎👍🏻
You should paint the frame black with rattle can then spray silver(or any color you like) inside a cloth with little bit of thinner and rub it that will give you sort of a worn out paint without too much effort and money you 'll get interesting finish and you could always laquer it if you find it too dull good progress...all the best👊
Yeah agree forward footpegs for most peeps with those bars would not be very comfortable unless you change the bars to have more pullback. I would stick to running boards. Cool starwars voice over. Cool looking oil filler custom cap 😎. I agree to keep the tank back away from the bars. I do like that short black sissy bar with the Harley eagle in the centre. Keep that. The air cleaner looks really cool 😎.
Could well imagine Deimante doing a test ride and review, upon it's completion. It's her kinda style.... unique, crazy and different. What a looker this is gonna be. Loving the boards on a bike with clip-ons.... only the Parrys could come up with such a combination !!
I'm slowly falling in love with this build.... reckon it's gonna be toooo good to use for a shop bike. That tank alone would fetch a fair few bob. Has nobody yet put in an offer for the finished bike?
Paint the frame! Run no wrap and no guards 😇 nice dull stainless 🤭 Start button on the starter makes me sad when making exhausts 🤣 hot hands on fire up. Burnout.
Loving the videos but as a machinst the closer you can turn anything to the chuck the better. Better finish, less vibration and when parting off you will get a square face and no deflection.. want any machining info give me a shout 🤌🏻👌🏻
Just my opinion but that rat bike rusty look works best when the tins all are left bare metal as well, therefore go with powder coat or even more wild copper plating or chrome
Hope you’re running longer pipes, for the sake of a healthy motor and performance. Ain’t all about the looks. Most Evos need right around 100cm pipes if you’re running 2-2 pipes - equal length on both pipes.
I reckon you should all drink 5 pints of beer each ,then get a spray can of different colour paint and just go fuggin mental for five minutes and see the result .........or just powder coat a bright canary yellow . Take care on the road fellas and stay safe 😁😁😁👍
Does a custom oil tank determine the volume of engine oil you will end up adding when you build her up vs the volume you would have with the standard OEM tank?
Yeah, I like the unpainted rusty look. Just flick a satin clear coat over it (after it's gained it's "patina"!) n it'll look sweet. I know it's too late n the decision has been made, but I have to say I hate the idea of clip-ons on a bobber style bike, I mean it's not a racer after all is it? Love all the rest of the ideas - footboards with mids etc though. Oil tank bung is cool too.
Who ever vote for putting nasty ugly wraps on it wake up nothing looks good with them the only reason why o us them are for lazy ppl who can’t be bothered to make a proper exhaust system lol but hey it’s not my bike no disrespect to you sam as it could be a nice bike but foot plates would be better for your size don’t put the tank to high as the bars will dent the tank I had the same problem on another bike I picked up moved the tank back a bit and it was all good and for the frame we used rattle cans for years and they are still ok to this day but hey it’s not like I don’t build my self but every one has there own taste best of luck mate

Good down to earth people doing decent work.
White frame would look dope w that tank

Powder coat white or red. Tank looks too good to not do something to frame and fender just my thoughts loving it so far

Use Smoothrite on the frame..plenty of colours and cheap as chips
Nice bloke, enjoying the build. 🇦🇺👍🏻

Frame..... Rust Rat-Look... with a top coat to seal it...... Maybe with a coloured wash over the rust before....
a magnesium-coloured frame would look awesome
Rattle can that frame :P >.... really budget
shes cumin along quite nicely!!!
🤘😎🤘

You should Cerakote the frame!!!!!! Earth color

budget frame = no paint or powder/ leave as is. Goes for every bits and pieces "found" for the bike actually
I personally dont mind wraps but only if its fresh, was worried you were gonna leave what was on since it's "budget"
why not try rearsets?
🤘

Our tanks are actually larger in volume than a stock oil tank 😊👍
same with the oil tank
Guards on exhausts...wraps are a scruffy fad.
Matt black frame! Paint it or even better Cerakote it!

forward pegs okay but u would need new handlebars
exhaust guars stainless tube cut in half bolts welded to original tubes chrome tubes over the bolts than bolted to stainless tubes
leave the frame un painted and just add a clear to it RAW frame with a clear coat
wraps
It would've probably been clear for the wraps if your picture wasn't nasty junk pipes wrapped vs nicely finished and painted guards.
middle
Okay where you based fellas
Trike for a one handed biker I’m sure you could help me
Edit . You ain’t far from me😆
just didnt like those guards
