well done Sir ! I have Slavia diesel , and lot of problem : For example in my cylinder because of long time sitting piston rigs make fault and I wanna change cylinder line , how can make it ? and where can I find dokument for slavia diesel ?
I can sympathize with you lowering that cylinder .....theyre bloody heavy and the slightest slip can end in disaster .......ive already broken 2 oil control rings during the same manouver. Question ....how are the cam lobes held in place on the shaft .They look to be cross pinned .Are the pins just an interferance fit ?
Hi, i have recently acquired a 1937 5/1 that is in pieces and upon inspection there aren't any remnants of the gaskets between the barrel and crank case, what thickness of gaskets did you use and how many? any help is appreciated.
It's so long ago I can't remember how many gaskets I used. Basically you need enough gaskets so that the piston at top dead center is in line with the top of the cylinder. If you put the cylinder on and measure the distance between the piston at tdc and the cylinder it will give you the thickness of gaskets to use.
Very good job Sir
Job well done. I have a Power Line CS 6/1 Listeroid I need to get up and running.

I sighed like that doing mine last week - rebored/new piston and rings - ring gap 12thou - 1934 5/1
I wonder if it would be possible to modify one of these engines to accommodate an anti-polishing ring...

Thanks for the reply, that has made it a lot easier to determine the gaskets.
Wish I were there to give you a hand.
