      I just did the same. what we should of done is started off with kettlebells and calisthenics to build foundational strength and then powerlifting / body build but we did vice versa b/c society brain washed us. It’s crazy how far body weight and one heavy Kettlebell can go even for intermediate athletes

      it's a good complimentary lift meaning if you get good with bells it can carry over and improve other barbell and dumbbell lifts. Try a single arm overhead press with 24 kg or above. The movement pattern is the most natural for the shoulder and definitely builds muscle.

    I did a 100 kettle bell swings at the gym today. It did not take long and I thought it was good, but I did not realize just how much it would kick my metabolism into gear. I got very hungry a few hours later, which is not normal for me since I already ate breakfast. I workout 5 days a week, but today was the first time I added the kettle bells, so I really believe that’s what was behind my hunger a few hours later.

    • @morrisboris6877
      @morrisboris6877 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Any kind of workout requires energy. If you're hungry, it means you used up a lot of energy or your regular meal didn't provide enough amount of or the right proteins. This is the reason bodybuilders consume protein drinks during a workout.

    Best way to work on your core

    • @morrisboris6877
      @morrisboris6877 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Wrong. You need a strong core to do heavier lifting and advanced moves like the snatch. KBs won't develop your core. Suspension training will do that. I did only suspension training for a year, before moving to kettlebell. And I was able to progress from the light bells to the heavy ones in a short amount of time.
      Unless, by core, you mistakenly think it's your abs. The core is the stabilizer muscles that keep you balanced when you move.

    The thing I hate about kettlebells the most is dragging them out of the rack over to where I'm going to use them, and dragging them back and hoicking them back in. Other than that, love them.

    totally disagree. KB's are an amazing strength builder. You only have pain if you don't progress in weight the same way you would if you were benching, dead lifting etc. Every method has a process. KB's rock!!

    • @morrisboris6877
