Early in the game Jeremy proliferated both his creature's +1/+1 counter, and the Simic Ascendancy. He missed the Ascendancy trigger to add an additional counter from adding a counter to his creature. This was missed multiple times.
Favorite quote from this episode Cory "I've never seen lifelink and toxic on a card before so I'm very confused" Steven "that's cause it's never been printed before"
So... here is me commenting before the end of the video. The cityscape leveler gives the owner of the permanent that gets blown up a powerstone, probably not relevant. Nice video btw, I really liked it!
Hell yeah! excited to watch this. I put Plague Nurse in the Corrupted Influence precon and after taking like 15 cards out it went nuts. I had like 10 Toxic Mites and killed 3 people and won the game in one turn with her add a toxic ability.
You know, they always call Stephen the spite player, but since I've started watching you guys Jon and Jeremy have done some game ruining spite plays against each other way more often that Stephen did lol
Also, for Stephen's comment early: There is already 1 spell for getting rid of Poison Counters. "Leeches" is a white sorcery that removes poison counters. From Homelands
Zombies... I've seen it once before in a rat, and I see it now in men. Once one gets a taste for its own kind, it can spread through the pack like a wildfire. Mindlessly chomping and biting at their own hinds. Nothing but the taste of flesh on their minds. You know the thing about a rat? It's got lifeless eyes. Black eyes like a doll's eyes. Don't seem to be living at all when it come at ya. Till it bites ya. And then the eyes roll over white. You don't hear nothing but the screaming and the hollering...
There is a card from New Phyrexia called Melira, Slyvok Outcast saying that you can't get poison counters. Obviously Jon is playing colorless so he couldn't put it in his deck.
You should probably add a poison counter to your interface when editing the clips instead of using dice. Tracking these counters is as important as tracking the life counters.
OG Melira is a counter against infect. she says "players can't get poison counters" and something else. she is mono green. the new Melira is not as good vs poison as the old one.
Man, if they are going to hard target 1st regardless of commander, you might as well just play super oppressive stuff in first too. Just full unfun the table.
Simic Ascendancy gets multiple counters when you proliferate if you choose it and creatures you control with +1/+1 counters. Cityscape Leveler grants powerstones to the controller of the target. The zombie juggernaut gets +1/+1 from Bad Moon. First time we can handwave that Jeremy blocked that one, but Corey should have gone to 3 since he specified. Toxic does not stack. That music needs to go and never come back.
Jeremy was obnoxious this game making sure to remind everyone Jon's poison count, you can see and hear him getting annoyed with Jon attacking him. Like I get it you can do what you want but at least try and play some politics instead of getting visibly getting annoyed.
I love how Jeremy complaines about being attacked by John when he gave John multiple poison counters. Dude stop complaining and take your lumps you did it to yourself.
The fact that both Corey and Jeremy have proliferated decks and all they did was Target John is actually really cheap. I'll also does anybody else find Corey really annoying?
Wait so they did what your supposed to do? Proliferate is a polotical mechanic like the rest of commander. Also if corey is annoying just dont watch with sound on or fast forward through his turn. In my opinion hes a great addition because he brings a competieve spirit to an otherwise political game
Decklists! articles.starcitygames.com/magic-the-gathering/commander-vs-326-legends-of-phyrexia-all-will-be-one-round-2/?_ga=2.14898613.247532503.1675648663-485186197.1674507133
More stupid music under the game?
Corey's decklist is missing a card
I'm told toxic doesn't use the stack, it just goes on like lifelink.
that is correct that's why it is different from poisonous
Early in the game Jeremy proliferated both his creature's +1/+1 counter, and the Simic Ascendancy. He missed the Ascendancy trigger to add an additional counter from adding a counter to his creature. This was missed multiple times.
When Jon cast cityscape leveler, Corey was supposed to get the powerstone...
He did a sneaky cheat by not giving Corey the Powerstone, though he did then create one for himself with the Planeswalkers ability
Jon and not reading the card for his benefit. Name a more classic combo.
Favorite quote from this episode
Cory "I've never seen lifelink and toxic on a card before so I'm very confused"
Steven "that's cause it's never been printed before"
Stephen always gets the commander he wants to have fun with and I appreciate that he always seems happy💜. Was a great episode!!
Stephen is just as joyful in person
So... here is me commenting before the end of the video. The cityscape leveler gives the owner of the permanent that gets blown up a powerstone, probably not relevant.
Nice video btw, I really liked it!
I miss seeing Rambo for first blood 😞
I love how you guys explain your decks now. It is really helpfull for new players to understand :)
Yall are the best commander show.
TEAM GREEN!!
I was today years old when I realized they're always the same colors in their videos 🤣
Hell yeah! excited to watch this.
I put Plague Nurse in the Corrupted Influence precon and after taking like 15 cards out it went nuts. I had like 10 Toxic Mites and killed 3 people and won the game in one turn with her add a toxic ability.
Phyrexia: It's just like, it's just like a mini-mall.
Y’all got great chemistry in this episode
Wouldnt simic ascendancy trigger twice when you proliferate once from the +1 counter being proliferated and a second from the proliferate?
yes
Little FYI (because it matters for points): toxic is like lifelink, it's not a trigger, it just happens at the same time as damage
I came here for this.
I figured this was a combo end for the time but this was actually really punchy. I like it.
You know, they always call Stephen the spite player, but since I've started watching you guys Jon and Jeremy have done some game ruining spite plays against each other way more often that Stephen did lol
Nothing like seeing Jeremy play Simic and John playing Artifacts. Only thing that can compete is Stephen playing Mono Red.
Another goofy, fun game. Hell yeah.
Also, I'm pulling for the return of Bearded Jeremy.
This was an awesome but really quick game. Haven’t seen a game this quick in a long time
Also, for Stephen's comment early:
There is already 1 spell for getting rid of Poison Counters. "Leeches" is a white sorcery that removes poison counters. From Homelands
Also og Karn and suncleanser

Oh a short one…should be spicy
Respect for playing rats deck that does not just spam rat colonies / relentless rats.
Corey didn't get his powerstones from the cityscape leveler
Come on Jon read the entire card please!
It's been like the third time that they played that card since release and still didn't read it all (played by multiple players too)
Always so surprised John has not stolen that bell and gotten rid of it LOL
Graaz is a fantastic creature! Go team GOLD!
ok if you are the 3 musketeers then based on your personality you should be Athos (Jon), Aramis (Jeremy), Porthos (Stephen) and D'Artagnan (Corey).
im calling it now! there will be counter removal in an upcoming set and the keyword will be "dwindle"
It’s Wednesday night and you know what that means Star city games on TH-cam
Y’all have to add another way to send in decks for the fam request. Screw twitter
There is a card from New Phyrexia called Melira, Slyvok Outcast saying that you can't get poison counters. Obviously Jon is playing colorless so he couldn't put it in his deck.
@11:30 killed me 😂
You should probably add a poison counter to your interface when editing the clips instead of using dice. Tracking these counters is as important as tracking the life counters.
I'm excited to see Jon go first
I now wanna see a pod where every deck is infect/ poison. I bet the game would be super fast
It is very fast if played right
and boring, annoying, not fun whatsoever, ive already got complains in my pod about this. pray this toxic hype dies out.
I'm still wondering to this day... Why did Corey used the Bident of Thassa on Jon, when all his creatures were juggernauts and had to attack? lol
when jon destroyed corey's flux channeler he should've gotten a tapped powerstone token
Are ya'll gonna post decklists 👀👀
Can Myriad landscape not get wastes because they don't have a land type?
yeh
It can get 1 waste.
Well they warned us pun or not.
I've been wondering where is Steven Parnell? Did he leave for good?
Pretty much I think. Has to take care of family.
Yet another John and Steven team up, when are you guys going to learn.
Waiting for the Jeremy revenge tour
We need bearded Jeremy
Suncleanser and Redirect remove poison counters Stephen
I love the New Ezuri but by god what have they done to him with the new artwork....
#eattherich #jonistherich #eatthejon
Shouldn't the zombie juggernaut have done 6 damage from the bad moon?
So today we don't talk about Senior Verde
OG Melira is a counter against infect. she says "players can't get poison counters" and something else. she is mono green. the new Melira is not as good vs poison as the old one.
Excited to see my favorite mechanic make a return
No takesy backsy from corey attacking.. let the punk learn
#TeamGreen
Stephen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jeremy playing Simic...
I am Jack's complete lack of surprise.
Toxic doesn't trigger
Jon Cheats Every Game Suarez at it again
I, also, don't like toxic/infect john.
Also I miss justin.
Man, if they are going to hard target 1st regardless of commander, you might as well just play super oppressive stuff in first too. Just full unfun the table.
Sure, because everyone benefits when a table that plays together 45ish weeks out of the year gets super toxic. Fun viewing experience right there.
*facepalm* man they have trouble getting stuff right
toxic doesn't stack its similar to lifelink
Jeremy was obnoxious this game making sure to remind everyone Jon's poison count, you can see and hear him getting annoyed with Jon attacking him. Like I get it you can do what you want but at least try and play some politics instead of getting visibly getting annoyed.
im early!
Jon is really a complainer and decides whats fair in MTG if its been used against him or not
toxic might be the most boring mechanic way to easy to exploit with proliferate.
More garbage music under the game.
Probably the most boring game that I have watched
I love how Jeremy complaines about being attacked by John when he gave John multiple poison counters. Dude stop complaining and take your lumps you did it to yourself.
