still believe that The Swarmlord is the vastly inferior commander. Honestly, both of the main commanders in this deck want you to do things the deck isn't *quite* focused on. The Swarmlord wants things with counters to die, which the deck has 0 ability to abuse. Lucea Kane wants x spells, which the deck only has about 10ish out of the box, but that's still more synergy then "Big boy beat face and refill hand when board die."
At 2:04:58 with regards to Fell the Mighty and killing/removing the targeted creature the card will in fact fizzle. Fell the mighty has the all important word "target" in it's text so the target must be chosen during the casting of the card and can't be changed without some kind of effect that changes the target of a spell. So if John removed the 1/1 token before it resolved then the spell would have fizzle and Steven would have gotten nothing.
30:00 Steven should've gotten the tokens because the saga would've been off the battlefield when the third chapter trigger resolved reverting control of the creature back to Steven.
To MANASPLAIN explain Stephen's conundrum about lands and an Endless Atlas that Draws you cards. At 1:22:29 (reply) A Deck of MTG cards is called a Library. Books are stored in a library, clear so far? Okay, books are a collection of various pages bound together, you might Pore Over the Pages of a Book or Atlas to read and interpret it. Cards such as Urza's Tome, Jayemdae Tome, Scroll Rack, and Tamiyo's Journal all can help with card draw, or turning a Page of a Book in your Deck Library. An Atlas is a book filled with Maps of previously explored LANDS. Here, the Map is one page in the book. That is why Endless Atlas checks how many Swamps John has explored and draws more page images of those lands, in the form of Card Draw.

many of these green and red Tyranid X cost creatures just slot nicely into Raggadragga as the "7 cost" spell package cards, I just added Tervigon and mawloc. a good upgrade for Jereemy's Tyranid swarm deck is "Apocalypse Hydra", it's a 0/0 Hydra for XRG that enters with X counters on it, if X is 5 or more, it enters with twice as many counters and you can pay 1R and remove a counter to deeal 1 damage to target creature or player. But in that Tyranid swarm deck, doubling the counters on it is pretty good. I'm sure you put the Ozolith into the deck right? one upgrade change I would make to Jon's list is to add back "Convergence of Dominion" it would make things like Scrapheap scrounger only cost 1 black to bring back out, with Phyrexian altar, that's a lot of tokens with the commander. I'm not sure if "Convergence of Dominion" is from the black deck, but it is a warhammer card

A couple reasons. Jeremy builds decks that are easy to defeat, until they aren't. Jon knows the best way to handle that is to deal with it early. It's a product of them playing together for so long. Also Jeremy is the most chaotic of the players. You'd think it'd be Stephen, but if you watch long enough you'll see that Jeremy is more likely to make the spite play or poorly evaluate the board state. This leads to the same result; Jon takes the offender out early.

Fantastic video. I'm looking into building the Imotekh deck. Any further changes been made by Jonathan?
I’m want to know as well

Thank you, Stephen, for the laser swamp close-up.
Love how much corey just makes everyone just laugh. Loved this game and of course he brought a mana drain in...lol

That Their Name is Death really sealed it, one sided board wipe backed up by the Scrapheap engine pretty much demanded another board wipe immediately
Reaaaally didn't expect a Mean Girls reference on a 40K special MTG show, but it was a nice one 😂
