Beautiful new Deere tractor looks awesome, I ran into the same thing this year with the concaves on green stem soybeans, as soon as it gets dark you might as well quit that was our last field as well just horrible how the concaves get plugged up, in 2019 I ran our old 7250 with round bar concaves on everywhere except the right front which was large wires seem to work good but now they want you to use a large wire every where but they do plug up, that is fine if you don’t have green stems or your issue, we did run an 8260 this year and it’s already traded in we trade every year great machines

I can't speak for them, but dealer network is a big consideration for us in Alabama. He's about 30 miles from a Deere dealer in Montgomery, and about 120 miles from a Case/IH dealer in Columbus MS. We just have a devil of a time with service/parts on Case equipment.
@@tommathews3964 yep and it's to bad they don't step up there network. They all do the job but JD is just an average product and case is probly better....they just pull better. As far as breakdowns I can't speak only run Deere long term.
@@chesterraybon3442 yea we waited a week for a gearbox on a 9500 and was down 2 weeks in soybeans plus rain. Had to have a guy custom one field. I just don't understand why case does not try to compete in the parts and services teams. They put out a damn good product imo. Case has better 4wd and better combines. Deere rowcrops may be a match and smaller stuff to case but that's about it. Way to risky to run red combines with low to average dealer support.

WOW what combine expect told him to take out the round bars? There is no way any beans were going in the tank. You won’t have to buy any seed for that field.

Since you live in an area where the ground does not freeze over winter do you plant winter wheat or spring wheat in the Fall? Winter wheat needs to be vernalized by frost to make seed.

Lack of parts cause us to replace two green ones for two red ones last month.

Looks like you need to be finding a different style of concaves, looking at changing clearance, all things you may have already done.

When you pulled your round bar concaves after corn..I wondered why. They would prevent that plugging. Running rounds in beans and sample if fine.
Large wire are complete garbage. I don’t know why they ship with them. They’re meant for 1980 beans that dried to powder.
