How lucky we are that Bosch continues! These three artists have definitely made this entire project compelling viewing and I for one wish the seasons were longer and would go on for many more years.

I loved both shows. I am an LA native, but what I love about the show is the dynamic of father daughter, especially because of how Harry grew up. I also like his search for justice for everyone. "Everyone counts, or no one counts", which should be all of our mantras to be considered really equal. I live on the side of LA, a neighboring city, and this gives me a glimpse of the other side, I rarely go to. Also, I love that some of the supporting characters, are actors I grew up with from the 80s, specifically Crate &Barrell, J. Edgar, who often played bad guys. And Robinson too. It's a breath of fresh air.
I only wish there were more episodes! My boyfriend and I watch TV together and He asked me what it was about Bosch that made it such a huge favorite of mine. I said, "I think it's just his quiet, unassuming and genuine strength of character." The first time he said, "Everyone matters or no one matters" I got chills.
I think Harry and Honey provide a very interesting yin and yang to the show that can be developed (nonromantically) to make it an interesting journey over the long haul. And Maddie's journey as a cop and a person adds to the myriad plots that can be woven. I hope the producers appreciate the potential of this show for longevity. It has become my favorite series, right up there with NYPD Blue. That series was an amazing journey, and this one could be the same.

Perfect interpretation of the characters, and stellar performances by everyone concerned. Then sadly the series ended way too quickly and I was so sad to see it go. But now we have Bosch Legacy and I am enthralled once again. Wonderful show, brilliant writing, again stellar performances. I can only hope when Legacy ends, there will be more to come from Titus Welliver and Michael Connelly.
Love the show, especially its pacing, the lingering and intense sequences, the opportunities that one of the directors provides the audience with an extraordinary opportunity to see these talented people engage in emotionally authentic long moments.

I'm a huge fan of Bosch and an avid reader of Michael Connelly's books. Bosch: Legacy is OK but not, IMO, up to the quality of the original series. The biggest drawback is its being broadcast on FreeVee with ads. Beginning with E5 the ads are coming more frequently and last longer, which is an irritant.
Sequels and spin-offs usually lost a lot of the original spirit of the show but this one really works and even better on some level because the plots are more complex, coming at the stories from several angles and these three really work so well together, it adds a lot to the show
I think you can get rid of the ads by switching over from the Freevee streaming to directly watching it on Prime. I was having the same problem because my server was defaulting to Freevee.
Enjoying the new series so far. What is happening with Titus Welliver's beard? It's usually salt-and-pepper. Interesting that in the novels Honey Chandler never had the chance to rise to the level she has in the TV series, since she was killed by the third novel The Concrete Blonde.
I hope we get a few seasons. Brilliant story and cast. Very lame finale though. We know nothing to terrible will happen to her. They wouldn't of gave her a new lead story to just kill her off. I'm sure that whole "cliffhanger" will be wrapped up within the first half hour.
Disappointed. The core of previous Amazon production was - unpredictability. Besides people relationships, we had not had any idea what could happened in many twists of script. Unfortunately In " Legacy" predictable - very last minute Bosch will come and save all situations.

If the director told her she couldn't furrow her eyes and purse her mouth, she'd be paralyzed! Im also pretty sure her real name is the same as her character name because she couldn't keep it straight otherwise...

Bosh Legacy is a superbly written series. It continues Michael Connelly's talent with expressing a gritty sense of realism to the "LA Scene."

Most series aren't even half so well written and cast. The whole Bosch TV series is the best that TV has at the moment.
