”Only when the parents of my schoolmates came to know I had parents with disabilities, I was asked who pays my school fees and how does such a family function.
So the problem was not in me, nor in my school friends, nor in my parents...
The problem was with society that judged, with their own prejudices and inhibitions that disabled people cannot work or disabled people cannot raise children, or that disabled people cannot give a good life or give their children a good education.
THIS needs to change rather than disabled people being judged for what they can do and what they cannot do."
