MJ was ridonculous. But what makes him great in my book are his actual skills. Dude was an ultra skilled machine.

He was indeed and he had done all against tougher and stronger guys, handchecking allowed, without traveling. i had the privilege of watching him play those days. Every time, i saw the fear in the eyes of his opponents, even Charles Barkley had it. Never saw it for an another player again.

Chicago OG here. This is why I tell young people that there is no competition when it comes to MJ, none. I know ALL of these stats because I crunched the numbers when he was playing!
If you do not know about Bernard King, Baylor, or even Rick Barry, it is normal for people today because of recency bias. That is why I tell young ballers to become a STUDENT of the game, not just a player.

BRO, IDGAF how many points you can score, but 6 of the top 10 scoring playoffs ALL OF THEM WITH OVER 50%... that shit is insane, legit I'm not even an MJ fan but like... how? Idk if people here hoops, I was a near NBA draft in my young years (15 years ago), when I left high school but bro over 50% is F insane in playoffs... I did saw the last days of MJ when I was almost a baby, then he came back as a wizz where I could really see how special he was, I'm not really a fan, Kobe is my dude but Kobe with MJ efficiency that's the best player ever seen. Lebron is a damn fraud dude, I'm a good hooper, not NBA level but I had a good choice back then... I just went for tech in my career, I'm 6'6 used to run track and I was first pick in high school and 3rd overall in college so I legit know wtf is good or not, MJ is just in an other level, and I saw all of the players since 97 to today (I was born in 91) I have just 3 players that I could say compete for GOAT... MJ, Kobe and Duncan, with a honorable mention for S Curry... that is what I saw, and that is what I keep watching, no player today has the weight of Steph, think about it...
Regardless MJ is the GOAT (still my fav player is Kobe, followed by D. Wade.. 2 real ballz to the wall hoopers)

I gotta say this for Kobe. I wasn't a fan of his growing up, but that motherfkr was damn fun to watch as I grew older. MJ. Kobe. Killaz.

Check out full season clips of MJ done by MaxaMillion711. You will see how he was able to drop so many buckets in the postseason.
Keep in mind that MJ never played with another player who could average 25ppg and or command a double team. Everyone knew who the
ball was going to for the key bucket, and the defense _still_ couldn't stop him. Scottie was nice. But he was more of an all arounder rather
than a pure scorer. Think Jaylen Brown with better defense.

I remember when MJ got the first million dollar contract. I was in high school (Dallas Skyline) with Larry Johnson (UNLV, Charlotte Hornets, NY Knicks). I just knew Larry would get a million one day. Larry got the first big monster contract back then for like 84-86 million. Larry was a BEAST!!! Some good videos of him
