It might be because im old siege player but i still love Jagger he is still fun and i think he's strong! I think his, downsides are not that bad, and he is still a great pick
I think if you find yourself in far range gun fights often then his 416 would be a better option, however the m870 is one of the best shotguns in the game. It's a tough choice, but I think if you are newer to the game I think the assault rifle would overall be a better choice.

The last one is important because if you're a solo Q player then you're likely going to die more because it's a team game after all. Try mixing things up don't do default takes all the time. As newer player he is still a good pick, And since he is only 1000 renown is one of the best operators you can get
