I just started playing Genshin and I had no clue there was a building mode and fishing until I saw this. This game never ceases to amaze me.

I love Zhongli's quote about every journy ending, so don't rush. I try never to rush through the story, and it's pretty nice.
I like to press the sprint button at the same time when he says "don't rush".

4 is me fr it got me cyno xiao and ayato so it went well I lost my 50/50 once and got a qiqi
I remember having the single most amazing experience in this game when I first started. I wish I can forget I ever played and experience that feeling again. Although amber's gliding test took me so much sanity I wish I can auto-pass
that one was easy for me the one that took my sanity was the "Chi of Yore" where I had to battle 4 ruin guards in an enclosed space
I know more than just one person who stopped playing because they couldn’t pass that sht

@@zetsurk i got combod with 4 spinning guards Immediately and never equipped any artifacts and weapon that time so I just lured them to water the second time so I could freeze all of them at once
I took care of the ruin guards with a bit of difficulty but the ruin hunter was a pain to deal with in such small space

I started late and I have friends who played way ahead of me so I started quite hardcore and rush everything in order to "catch up". After the first chapter I slowed down to actually enjoy the stories and exploration, regardless of my friends.
You did the right choice! The fun thing for me is that I played it because of my friends, but I took my time. Now they got tired of playing and I'm still 100% addicted 😂
I play genshin for a bunch of reasons, like… wishing, for fun, cuz I’m bored, and for making my characters stronger and leveling them up.
I play it because -gambling the 16000 primo gems I have to lose the 50 50- I want to have fun.

THIS IS SO ACCURATE!! I'm a mix player with the ones you listed, I'm a gatherer, in love with the music, I do creativity, tons of mining, playing for fun half the time, play tons of TCG, meeting other players most of the time helping them with the materials they need, I'm kinda of a collector, 100% explore everywhere, I try to achieve items just to get, another I'll add is I love roleplaying on there!! There's so much stories you can create!!
A lot of those, but recently focused the most on leveling up my characters and weapons
i just started like 2 weeks ago to play the parade of providence quest since i love kaveh so much i finally give it a try. speed run everything to quick unlock the quest.... now that i have achieved that, everything is hard rn without me realizing it🤣 now i need to slowly build everything so i can catch up with the archon quest and play kaveh's hangout 🥺
Good luck with your playthrough. Kaveh is an incredible character and you get a lot of backstory on him in his hangouts. He's impossible to not like, I swear
your "music" section actually caused me to immediately pause the video and create an account dedicated to co-op lyre called "WanderingBard" so thanks for that lol

I'm ngl, I've been mostly f2p on Genshin, the only times I've spent money is during Cyno's release banner cause I desperately wanted Venti, cause I didn't know a thing about saving primos and all that back then. The second time I spent money was to get Wanderer, I ended up getting Diluc. Heres to hoping I get Wanderer this time 🤞

i just downloaded genshin because the oratrice meme that went viral introduced me to Neuvi and i got so obsessed with him and the Fontaine archon quest's plot- i'm pretty busy rn so i don't think i'll start playing immediately but i wonder what kind of player i become...

i have a suggestion XD *the experimenter*
(i dunno if this is common knowledge sorry)
examples: once upon a time i realized i got a damage bonus whenever i put a character in my team so i messed around with my team until i came to the conclusion that if you have at least 2 pyro characters on your team everyone gets a damage bonus
i also discovered that if every character on your team is a different element everyone gets 15% extra resistance to all elements
and another time i decided to test which build was better for my xiao by clearing a domain with one build and then again with the other build,
yada yada you get the idea i guess (sorry for long comment maybe?)
2 pyros give everyone a damage bonus... unles theyre an hp scaler... and yea that and the 4 different elements on your team are the resonance effects, theres a button to see which one you have/all the different ones if the party setup menu!

i have xiao as my main dps, ayaka as sub dps (i recently got her and im still building her), qiqi as my healer, and yanfei for emotional support
qiqi's elemental skill deals continuous cryo damage and heals so its cool for getting the swirl effect during his burst and also making sure he doesnt die i guess? i dunno if this is what youre looking for

@@dehetalingi3325 well i think the best artifacts would be 4 piece vermillion hereafter... unfortunately i do not have that, but i have 2 piece gladiator and 2 piece vermillion hereafter, those both give +18% attack

I myself just started only in April this year , I’m now world lvl 6 and AR 50, have collected 30 characters, and probably ready to ascend again- I’m just lazy & taking my time enjoying the quests. Don’t rush yourself- enjoy the journey. ☺️

Im the explorer. I haven't even finished the Liyue Archon quest (recently finished second part) and I have most of Fontaine and Sumeru explored/lighted up. Mondstadt and Liyue waypoints have all been discovered :> (I don't have the Chasm completed yet, only like one waypoint left for that section, same for dragonspine). This probably because I'm too lazy and under level to fight and do domains for leveling up my Adventure Rank.
I also have vowed myself to never spend a single penny on the game.
(I feel that I will regret making that vow in the future...)

Dang :/ I feel like a mixture of all, I have had my casual days (during week days), hardcore (during weekends).
Im most definitely an achievement hunter - completionist (100% liyue/mondstand, about 96% inazuma, still finishing sumeru). I know I am a low key whale (I have skipped on a few selective banners and I only have selective 5star C6 characters - which are my absolute favorites) and I try to up my numbers every time I can - by doing challenges, improving gear, getting good, etc.
Im a lore/theorist junkie, I love playing through events, play music, take pictures, completing my archive, and just enjoying genshin's ambience & music. I also have days that I go on gathering/cooking/fishing/hunting sprees just to relax and decompress.
I have fought against my idiotic impulse to wish on every banner (reason why Im not a full blown whale - as a financial advise if u are to use money in gacha games like genshin be mindful of your spending, set a budget and do NOT go over it. Supporting the game doesn't mean go broke. Happy planning = happy life). I also love trying out characters just for fun (even if not meta), exploring, play challenges, and killing time in game. I gotta admit Im not a hardcore TCG player, and I'm not much of a co-op player, but I have played my fair share of these game modes.
