Thank you for being so honest, especially the impostor syndrome. it is a hard topic to talk about and not everyone is brave enough to share their personal struggle with that. I admire you. i wish you well.
i hope i can be an erasmus mundus scholar like you by next year.

Speaking about good aspects of the being an international student and posting some nice pictures is something that everyone can do, but speaking about the challenges of the life and how we deal with them is something new. I liked this video Elgee. waiting for some other special and innovative videos from you...

      oh wow!
Thank you for your comment bro. I really appreciate it.
More than anything, it's the friendship we've built as coursemates that has made the journey more interesting. Cheers to the next 6months!

That's an amazing video elgee! Most of these challenges are common among most of us I guess, it was very brave of you to talk about them out loud. Stay strong ❤️

      Thank you, Sadia.
Usually, we don't talk about this kind of stuff.
It's not all rosy! But we can agree that it's been an incredible experience!

i am by myself here in my home country so i do not really care if i am lonely in Europe. i just want to leave this continent. it is so interesting when you speak about accents because here in Kenya we find nigerian accents SO STRONG.

Spot on with the content, elgee. Way to hammer the nail!
    1. 95% of the time, it isn’t your accent, but their minuscule exposure to the English language that hinders communication ;)
    2. Hear Hear! with your note about getting out of one’s comfort zone. It’s not the most pleasant of things.
PS: Speaking slowly does work to enhance communication, but be careful that it doesn’t become first nature, trust me 😅

Thank you for your comment Nathaniel.
Good to know we both agree on your first point. 😅
Also, I still find myself speaking quite fast, and I have to "come back again"😂. but it's alright!
      cheers.

    Great! Thanks for sharing.
My opinion: A lot of youtube videos help me understand difficult topics. With them I get to understand the topics from different people in different perspectives.

On the original idea; the problem is the student. When lecturers gives assignment, only few take extra effort to do the assignment majority will rather copy.Yes we make excuse that they (lecturers) don't mark, or make use of the assignment for the overall grading. Sincerely, if you are a Lecturer and you read assignment of 20 students and all of them copy what they saw on Google/Wikipedia word for word, with no iota of original idea and without references. Many student (including postgraduate) can't reference properly and don't even know the various style of references. You will read a full thesis, there will be no references.
I am happy you have made it clear that education abroad is not a rollercoaster as people make us to believe back home.
    I wish you well bro.

It's cool you have mentioned most of what you have faced in Europe regarding culture food. But it's kind of partial, not mentioning the religious beliefs and practices, how you attend your church and the Muslims. You might also need to talk about the economic situation, like the prices of commodities and the crisis(discrimination, war) among others

      Hello Idris.
      Thank you for your comment.
Actually I haven't faced any issues as regards the things you've mentioned, so I'm not in the best position to speak about it.
      But I understand your point.
      Cheers.

Thank you for sharing Elgee. How about getting a community of Nigerians to join. Is that available or none is found around where you are?

      Thanks for your comment, Philip.
Actually, I haven't found a community like that here.
But overall, the situation has been better, thanks to some of the friends I've made already.
