Don't you love when games don't tell you what you need to do? That's how it was back in the day with these games!!
Originally, Final Fantasy II was meant to be a prototype to the SaGa series. And it does show as a lot of the mechanics used in this game are used in that series as well! So while it's odd for a FF game, it did give rise to another series in the process!
