Saw them twice at the legendary El Mocambo in Toronto in 1979. They had 4 albums under their belt by then. It was Peak Ramones. The place was packed. The crowd, the energy in that small nightclub was off the charts. I've been to a lot of concerts of all types in my life. Nothing comes close to those shows. Sheena is the anthem of punk rock.

Small story: So my dad grew up listening to punk music (he was born in 73’ so) and he eventually opened his own punk club where bands came to play.many famous bands came to play there. So I was born in 06’ and the ramones were played around me as a young baby along with any other bands. They’re one of my favorite bands have been for so long. I’ve grown up with these songs and I love them. I have memories of being in the bath and this playing. I have so many memories of the ramones songs when I was little. I remember when I was a little kid I heard this song coming from my older sisters room so I went to investigate. I thought it was the Beach Boys..ill never forget the look on her face when I asked 😵😂 Years later I thanked her for introducing me to one of the greats!
