    The opening that he played is called the delayed wing gambit. A variation of when they play 2. b4 in the Sicilian. Gotham chess plays it a lot

      Interesting. I had not run into it before. So maybe not a home brew like he mentioned to me?

      @@highgroundchess it might be home brewed with chess engine nowadays. Equality is achieved whether white plays the wing gambit or the delayed wing gambit. But if one has never seen it they're out of book which from a psychological standpoint gives white the edge

      The DWG is something I played pre Gotham but he really popularized it. It was a good game! The game after this one propelled me past 2,000, but I’ll be taking a break for a while. Gg!

    Do you have access to stockfish or and chess engine with a decent depth?

      @@highgroundchess lichess. You can store the games in Chessbase, Chessable, or lichess studies. I recommend this because they're aren't too many master games that deal with the O'Kelly Sicilian
