She can't even kill him infront of Colonel Quaritch, spider's father she cared about spider too and she trust spider to keep Kiri safe before she jump down to follow Tuk. Neytiri never treated spider badly, she watched him grow up with her kids.

I think it's beautiful and stuff that Jake would do that for Grace and take care of her kid and stuff And it doesn't matter if the kid is one of His friends and is all alone and stuff I think he would still take care of the kid because what he did for grace I think it's fair for his other friend I forgot his name but if he did die on accident or something or you just died I think he would do that too for him And that's one of the part I like about Jake because hes sweet kind he might not act like that around his kids but he is And that's the sweetest thing he could do for kirir In the years that he put effort to raise her is really awesome And of course all of his kids too you can not forget about tuk And Loak and Nataeam I think That town you spell his kids Names I'm not sure

I love that they raise Kiri as their daughter. Even the joking around of teenagers trying to crack the mystery of her birth was still just about genetics, no "real parents" talk. And I feel like she will be why it won't be an easy decision for the family to distance from Spider going forward. The kids bond over their unusual existences and disconnects with typical family: Kiri doesn't know how she was born but knows exactly who her family is. Spider knows exactly how he was born but doesn't know who his family is. And they understand each other's philosophical questioning beyond what a teen would usually be equipped to because they are living it. To be clear, I do not see a romantic arc at all, it just feels like it would detract from the depth of a bond they have already (and would be really weird with the actors ages)

Guys, I think that Kiri being the same actress as Grace might be foreshadowing. Maybe, during the ritual that failed, when Grace went with Eywa, Eywa decided to restore the balance of life. U know how kiri was conceived as a mystery, maybe it was Eywa giving Grace’s soul back to Pandora. That is why Kiri has a connection to the plants and the wildlife, maybe she doesn’t have a father, maybe she just is part Grace’s spirit, with part grace of Eywa
