That was an impressive breakdown, I’m from Aus, raised kids without child care, but totally understand your point about needing it, just a tip from a. Grown up Mum, the best years you spend with them are when they are young, they just get nastier after that lol, all good though
Hi Ross/Will....😆 good information thanks. We have binge watched all your videos. Even the food eating ones, I don't know why as I've been to all them anyway lol as you can tell I'm a busy man! Please upload some more videos asap as we are in lock down and well, I'm bored as.f. cheers mate 👍
Great video lots of useful info. Re the salary and then the percentage of help you get - do they take into account your savings. As we will just have sold our house in UK so will have savings till we are able to buy? Thanks
Hey Ross, we've just sold our UK home. Hoping to come over just after Xmas. We have a 190 visa. We have 3 children , our 2 girls are school age but our son is only one. You mentioned that bank statements showing earnings can help get the CCS.... I was wondering if they just take a job offer contract ?
Job contract is best as they base it upon your yearly earnings. Previous savings isn't taken into account. Show centrelink your job contracts when you get there and they will be able to process your ccs claim for you. Remember it's done on family income, so if you both have jobs, you will need each contract. If one isn't working they will reduce the amount of subsidised hours as they expect the non working parent to do some parenting Good luck on your journey
Great video. I would be coming on a sponsored 482 visa in Western Australia. Would I be eligible to apply for childcare subsidies with this visa? Thanks,
We are moving over to Australia (QLD Sunshine Coast) once my wife has finished her uni degree. We have 4 daughters from ages 7-3. We have loads of questions about getting them into schools and what process and steps we have to take. Would you be able to do a video regarding this (understand you didn’t have children in school when you moved over) but do you know anyone that has? Thanks for the videos, have loved watching them they are all filled with so much useful information. 😊
Hey Ross, we received our PR (190) one month ago, are we eligible for CCS? I am asking because for parents pay there are waiting times(2-4 yrs), and I couldn't find any information about it. cheers
I'm moving in December 😁 to start our new live, good thing is this time I'm older than last time when I started it.. 😂 Like 28 years ago 🤔😂 hope I make some smarter decisions this time 😅 like your video and the sarcasm as always 😁 👍🏻
Hey Ross, we've found a great nursery here in the UK that suits us with their eco-vibe and lots of outdoor play, unbelievably just up the road from us, and our (16 month old) son loves it there. Would you be able to share your family's experience with nursery, if there are general standards or more details about day to day activities and how they line up with schools perhaps. I would imagine, like here, one nursey is very different from the next, but information is hard to come by and is one of our small concerns we have about going to Oz. Thanks.
@@ThatJohnstonLife that's awesome, thank you, Ross. As you mentioned, Careforkids is handy for availability / costs, but not too much else. Your thoughts will be appreciated.
Great Video as always.. I am planning come move in following a 482 TSS visa. I have two daughters aged 2+ and 5+. I would love to know the options I have when it comes to childcare for my youngest, as we cant afford 115+AUS a day. Thanks a bunch 🤠
Just moved to Australia, would we still be eligible for CCS if only my husband works? I am currently not able to work because i am looking after our child so was wondering how to get childcare support in that case?
Depends on your visa, but as long as you're permanent residents you should qualify for some ccs hours. It may be the equivalent of 1 or 2 days if 1 of you is working
Hi i would like to ask coz my son is australian citizen already and i am a tourist visa here in australia ive been here since 2021 and my partner he is australian citizen and working here but we cant get child benifits of my son we tried to apply everytime but .they always ask of my tax number but im not working here .Whats the easiet way to apply for it .Thank you hope you answer my question god bless
@@wywk Ahh now I get it, thanks Wendy. They also forgo the tax benefits /lower wage subsidies if the kids are not vaxxed. They can't have it both ways IMHO.
Hi, I have a brother who is an australian citizen by descent. We live here in he philippines and we have no contact with his father since my brother was very young. Right now, my brother is 17 years old and I would like to know if he is still eligible for any child support in centrelink of Australia. I am hoping for your help and kind response. thank you so much..
Exactly. We though we would never be able to send our daughter to daycare in the UK until we qualified for the free subsidy. As it turns out, it's so important for their development and we've seen her grow so much over the last year she has been going
Can you tried to speak with a neutral accent and more slowly ? iThe topic you are talking about can surely be very interesting for recently arrived immigrants. eg from China, India, Iran, etc. It is difficult and tiring to listen to a man who speaks faster than a teenage girl.
Always appreciate your vlogs. Genuine vlogs keep up the good work Ross!
Thanks Dee, I appreciate the comment

Can't wait for those teenage years
Thanks for explaining all of this. Make our move so much easier
Thanks for watching
Thanks, very confusing when reading all the info
Glad it helped!
Weird amounts because these figures are adjusted by CPI each year. Started out as a round number

Will definitely look into it!

No. Just earnings

My claim is just approved. I am a scholarship holder of Australian government and eligible for CCS😊.
Can we claim for childcare subsidy while on 491 visa ?
hi there..have you gotten an answer to this question as I am flying to Australia with 491 visa. looking into bringing my daughter over.

Hi Ross. What on earth do you say at 3:22? "Here is my little dig, anti .......??????????" Have no idea
Vaxxers
@@ThatJohnstonLife yeah I got the vaxxers word but what did you say after that and before the edit?

Hey! How much do we need to pay in child care if we have 482 mid term visa
That's a temporary visa, you wouldn't be eligible for CCS

Child care subsidy applicable for 491 visa holder's children?
Only for Permanent Residents
