I think it for posture. We used to make these small pillows at school and then put them on our heads during classes. It helps to keep your posture straight, cause once you start to lean forward the pillow falls
My friend had this done and had keloid type scaring under the skin which they told her can’t be repaired. Can you please do a YT video on it and discuss the risks. Thank you.
@@lucyalvarez1288 thank you I am not educated on that matter but I will tell you it was aggressive, so I assume it was deep. I had to ask her to give me a minute to regroup in the middle of it.
The only reason I can think of for the person's logic in making that video is perhaps they were talking about gentle retinols. (Since irritation can aggravate dark spots, and darker skin tones are more prone to them.) Even then though, most people can build up strength to other retinols/retinoids, and even other skin tones can benefit from something gentle. Being honest it may have just been click bait to get people to watch their video. (Or if they had good intentions, maybe it was more to spread awareness that gentle would be the way to start for darker skin tones, but I don't know.)
@@Melon29813 maybe. But this person has entire channel dedicated to person of color. I m not bashing the doctor or anything, just trying to understand the logic. Her name is Dr V
@@msa5127Yeah her name is Dr Vanita Rattan. She's usually prescribing stuff for people with darker skin colour. For example for people of colour, lactic acid is a better exfoliant than glycolic acid because they are more prone to hyperpigmentation. Also according to her, LED light masks might not be good for people with darker skin colour as it can cause hyperpigmentation issues.
Doc, is PRP treatment possible if someone is on TRT? I’m wondering bc one Doc told me it would have a negative effect due to DHT conversion . Thank u for your advice!
She says it has growth factors. But what is it specifically for? I can infer she may be referring to hair growth… only be cause I’ve seen other videos but she never really says what it is specifically for. Ni modo.
For a broke ass me ill age gracefully just like my ancestors. We all end up in the same place. Life is too short. Unless youre an athlete that does prp.
Him wincing when you BARELY touched his arm cracked me up 😂
Not him having a pack of wipes on his head the whole time 🤣
Wwhy does he have that on his head? Is it neccesary for the treatment or what?
isnt it an ice pack?

Is PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin) ever used for hair restoration?
What does it actually do for you? Feel better how?
It helps restore collagen so it slows signs of aging

I love how badly I wanted to do this and then a few months later learned I had thrombocytopenia lol I dont think it would have yielded good results😅
I did injections with PRP after removing wisdom tooth, it works so well!
Do you inject the prp with a needle or with microneedling?
I’ve had it both injected and also microneedled in
@naynay3174 is microneedling with 0.5 effective? Or is deeper necessary? Thank u in advance

Is it safe for under eye treatment?

It’s hurts so bad!!!
Looks like a spooky blood draw.
Hi doctor. I came across a video saying “recommended retinols for people of color “ I m brown skin. I don’t understand how that matters.

Does it hurt to do in scalp?
What WHAT is process for??
Is it something you can do when pregnant or trying for a baby? I'm going off minoxidil so looking for an alternative
If you aren’t pregnant yet you can get it done and it’s fine but my NP didn’t recommend it during actual pregnancy and said I should wait.

I had PRP for my torn ankle tendon, 15 years ago when it was a new thing, it has saved my ankle and im so grateful but it was tough the first time.
