The best punch would NOT be a straight punch and a hook punch would be more effective with less chance of breaking fingers. I have broken 2 fingers using brass knuckles in a straight punch, and have also had no pain or damage when throwing a hook punch.

Like there is literally no videos out on youtube that show real brass knuckles and how to use them (real ones can weigh over a pound), i can totally understand why, it seem like a really dangerous weapon based on my video research. You can carry them in Florida with a ccw permit. And if you are approached by someone way bigger than you who is looking for a fight or even more than one person you can easily put them on while you have a hand in your pocket and give you a lot more of a chance to punch away anbody coming at you. I think it's a great alternative if you are going to the beach or somewhere that is just inconvenient to carry your gun. Also any place that has a circle slash gun sign you can't bring your gun legally. So you can just skip them in your pocket. Small out of the way. I think you definitely get alot of fighting power for how concealable and light not sharp and don't pop or bang on accident and cheap. Don't bulge easy to carry.

Me too. I have and use the same one, but the edge around the finger holes areas are too sharp. I suppose that point is the only problem , so I cut such edges with my crappy knife. Easy, but a little bit dangerous, but now it’s very comfortable and I got it well that’s why knuckledusters are made from brass metal. Thank you.

In VA you can cary any knuckles you want EXEPT BRASS the state code spicificly says brass knuckles are outlawed however in NC all metal knuckles are outlawed but me living in VA I had the idea to potentialy chrome plate a pair of brass knuckles . Morrice, it was actually common practice to put tape (mainly cloth like medical tape) to protect the palm of hand. Put on a pair and hit somthing really hard, it helps.
Man those are so much better than the BudK paper weight Brass Knuckles, with much much better Fit and Finish all over and much lager finger holes , you got a very good set of Brass Knuckle paper weights ,they look like keeps for certain, especially now that Texas has low to no band on them which is wonderful.
I just got a BudK pair. They weigh 6.8 ounces on my scale, and the finger holes are more than large enough for my average size grown man hands. They aren't very polished though, with lots of casting marks all over them. All sharp edges have been removed however, and the weight is what it should be for solid brass. I am satisfied with them.

Id love to own a pair but Possessing a prohibited weapon is often charged as a misdemeanor, though in some situations it can count as a felony offense. Misdemeanors are crimes for which the punishment is up to one year in jail, while a felony can lead to incarceration in a prison for at least a year or more. I live in Texas and have personally seen cops charge someone with a felony charge for having a pair he forgot about in his van i dont know if it stuck because my friend left the state. I have since moved on to tactical gloves instead. Nice pair though id prefer some spikes on top.
and you're correct in saying Brass Knuck's are obsolete. Most people don't know how to hold them properly and to be honest with you there are multiple other hand to hand weapons that are far more effective. Brass Knuckles are weird because you can't even utilize your hands properly when using them. Stands no chance against a quality knife or a tactical hatchet.
Perfectly legal in South Dakota. I have carried them and hit stuff with them like trees and wood and such. I really did not like the way they felt in my hand. I prefer punching bare handed. With a straight punch I can deliver more power than with the jab punches you do with brass knuckles. The way they feel in my hand and also the fact that a fight is dynamic in that you should be able to open and close a hand to grab and such. With brass knuckles in your hand that does not work as well. Also because of them being illegal in allot of other places why not just learn to punch well and then you would not need brass knuckles. Not to mention that a weapon should give you a reach advantage and with brass knuckles and other "force multipliers" they do not because of the way you use them. Kind of like training wheels for a bike. Once you know how to ride a bike you do not need training wheels anymore. If you are interested in a weapon that does similar damage to brass knuckles but does not hurt your hand and also gives you a reach advantage. I would suggest a hammer. Perfectly legal in all 50 states and can be bought at any hardware store.
They probably arent the best fitting knuckles for your hand then. I collect knuckles of varying sizes, usually brass made ones. Some are novelty, some are no shit head busters. The purpose of brass knuckles is usually to get a sucker punch in, as knuckles in a fight is widely frowned upon. But knuckles are easy to get a punch in and ditch, swinging a hammer around will get you in serious trouble without the possibility to be carried or getting rid of them without easily being seen. Also, some people are smaller framed, and no matter how good they learn to punch, there's big guys out there with concrete jaws. But ill leave you be carrying your hammer everywhere.

Wrap them in paracord for the hot spots and I use and old cell phone belt case to carry very easy to deploy and don't weigh you down

I live in Texas and have personally seen cops charge someone with a felony charge for having a pair he forgot about in his van i dont know if it stuck because my friend left the state. I have since moved on to tactical gloves instead. Nice pair though id prefer some spikes on top.

and you're correct in saying Brass Knuck's are obsolete. Most people don't know how to hold them properly and to be honest with you there are multiple other hand to hand weapons that are far more effective. Brass Knuckles are weird because you can't even utilize your hands properly when using them. Stands no chance against a quality knife or a tactical hatchet.

Perfectly legal in South Dakota. I have carried them and hit stuff with them like trees and wood and such. I really did not like the way they felt in my hand. I prefer punching bare handed. With a straight punch I can deliver more power than with the jab punches you do with brass knuckles. The way they feel in my hand and also the fact that a fight is dynamic in that you should be able to open and close a hand to grab and such. With brass knuckles in your hand that does not work as well. Also because of them being illegal in allot of other places why not just learn to punch well and then you would not need brass knuckles. Not to mention that a weapon should give you a reach advantage and with brass knuckles and other "force multipliers" they do not because of the way you use them.
Kind of like training wheels for a bike. Once you know how to ride a bike you do not need training wheels anymore.
If you are interested in a weapon that does similar damage to brass knuckles but does not hurt your hand and also gives you a reach advantage. I would suggest a hammer. Perfectly legal in all 50 states and can be bought at any hardware store.
They probably arent the best fitting knuckles for your hand then. I collect knuckles of varying sizes, usually brass made ones. Some are novelty, some are no shit head busters. The purpose of brass knuckles is usually to get a sucker punch in, as knuckles in a fight is widely frowned upon. But knuckles are easy to get a punch in and ditch, swinging a hammer around will get you in serious trouble without the possibility to be carried or getting rid of them without easily being seen. Also, some people are smaller framed, and no matter how good they learn to punch, there's big guys out there with concrete jaws. But ill leave you be carrying your hammer everywhere.

I thought the video was done well, and had provided good information on this type of weapon. I liked the video and simply shared my opinion "great video i just cant handle the lisp". and in a counter to your statement i will provide you with a quote from Hissatsu5. at 9:46 Hissatsu5 states "I would hope that you would use them lawfully in the defence of the innocent" which contradicts your statement about using them on a law abiding citizen of the US.
