27 years ago. Thats when we had 3/4 Rockin weekenders a year. They were great fun as well, everyone who was anyone on the Europe Rockin scene was there....Extasy was new as well, hahah, many mad long nights to be had in the Norfolk Bar....say no more...
I can't believe the dunes in front of the car park at the end. Interesting to see that view of it as they're all gone now and the car park is now the cliff.
Las mejores bandas rockin son las de los 50,70,80 y 90. Ahora hay mucho afasionamiento y modernillos-as. Hay de todo pero mejor lo de antes. Saludos a la gente rocker de una chica rocker rockabilly desde 1989.
That's Gen. She still lives a couple of miles down the road from me here in Essex, and is married with a grown up son. She and her husband Mark (not in the video), still attend rock'n'roll events and have won a number of jive competitions.
People are often surprised how well my old cine films have kept, even the ones that I took in the 70s. The clarity is so much better on 8mm cine compared to VHS, which doesn't keep that well.
@RUSTYVELOX kodachrome should last 100 years with no colour fade if stored correctly. Film has a surreal quality which no video or digital format can replicate. If you win the lottery a nice 2 or 4k film scan of your work would be awesome.
The good times, thank you for posting
They certainly were, you had to be there to appreciate how good it was.

will be 34 years ; soooooooon !!!!
As an American I would like to thank all the English rockin cats, especially the Ted's for keeping rock&roll alive.🍻cheers!!!
'50s Rock'n'Roll is still loved by many here in the UK, it is so great seeing some of the younger generations wanting to keep it going.
The 32 Coupe at the end was me driving on the Beach, sure miss that Hot Rod, so fun to see it again, thanks.
Good to find out who was driving that rod all those years ago! Sorry that I run out of film at that point.
😎👍🏻🍻

I remember the Psychobilly/Rockabilly weekend at Hemsby that year.

End of an era...
Kalamity Fame, Very true, just watched the last Hemsby band play, so sad it is all over....
New hemsby camp is so posh compared to the camp in the 1990s..sadly... much more expensive as well..
So classic..
Great to see super 8 output when shitty video tape capture was all the rage.
