    Just curious to enquire, Capitaland and CDL are part of the 10 dividend companies you mentioned in this video. If you are an investor, what will you choose, between a property developer and a REIT? A REIT must distribute at least 90% of its income to the unitholders , but a property developer is not under the law to do that.

    • @joshconsultancy
      @joshconsultancy  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Lingo, this list is inspired by LG dividend fund, not that they have the best dividends right now. Developers earn on developing land or selling completed property. Earnings are lumpy and I've also no clue to project with certainty. Dividends can come on special dividends due to asset sale. Hope it helps and cya around more ya =)

  • @williamku6315
    @williamku6315 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    just wondering what's your take on the LG dividend fund itself?
    my understanding is that it pays out about 1% every quarter i.e. 4% PA
    the management fee 1.2% is being factored in the NAV
    so can it be considered as simple return of 4% per PA not considering capital gain/loss (pretty sideways and hence flat)

    Hey Josh! I am currently a NSF about to ord soon finally 🤤😂 and i will be heading to uni soon.
    I have a few qn:
    1. Should I pay lumsum of my tuition fees and be debt free (I am capable of vomiting out everything at once to pay off)
    2. Or should I put that 30k somewhere such as Singlife, Dash EasyEarn, DBS stocks to generate interest with the 30k?
    3. As I am very risk averse, I have plans to invest and hold 100k worth of DBS stocks for the future and generate a steady flow of passive income. Do u find this dangerous? Are there any other alternatives asset i can allocate my funds to ensure i get at least 4% p.a returns through dividends? Thank you Josh 😊

      Hi YY, coz you're private club member =)! 1 &2 is binary. Theoretically getting interest and riding on the interest free will make sense. However, it's only $1k difference in decision at most? Doesnt really matter to your life in the long term. Put your time to bigger picture things. If you are risk adverse and not familiar with invest VERY slowly. You need time to understand ur stomach for investments. THere are a lot of people and social media outlets/youtube channel totting the next big thing investment and creating FOMO. DONT FALL FOR IT. Looks silly in the short term but when it all blows over you'd thank me for it =) Cya around more!

      Most newbies fail simply because they don't understand how the market works in general or in particular how the market relates to stock/forex or currency pair they entering. If a retail trades doesn't grasp what the market makers are doing and when they are doing it, the greatest strategy in the world will fall. For new traders the markets are like entering an F1 race before you've passed your drivers license test. One more advantage is the possibility to benefit from repetition. Without this type of strategy, you probably won't know what worked or why it worked and even if you did, it would be hard to repeat therefore for you need a perfect mentor to teach you perfectly to enable you invest and trade accurately on your own, which i highly recommend you Mr Hercules He guides me with the exact time frame to trade and now I just received my first withdrawals of $30k in my bank account today I'm very happy, my advice is for you to contact him he will guide you perfectly well, and thank me later, I guess this is a good way to show my heartfelt appreciation for literally breaking the chain of my financial debit when I needed it most, you can contact him on his email 📧

    Bought Capitaland instead of CDL because Temasek holds 51% of it. Furthermore the Price to Book is less than 0.7. Think there is more upside for Capitaland. Teamsek bought 94 million shares of Capitaland at average price of $2.78, thus I think Temasek's analyst had already review it ^_^
