I am never leaving my call center Job. I love being yelled at by managers and customers! I love being unable to reach unattainable call metrics. Everything is my fault and Customers punishment and screaming at me charges me up. The customers need me. They fill my pay check. I live, love, and breath for customers. I am just a slave for the system. I'm going to move up to another position some day. My dream is to die at my desk with my head set on! I want to be a skeleton sitting at my desk ready for Halloween every year.

I’ve been at one for almost 7 years and can’t stand another minute. Keep applying to other jobs and seems like at this point I guess I’m going to take anything to get out. It’s mentally not healthy. It’s degrading and will eat your soul until you think your the worst person on the planet and deserve to not be here. It’s bad folks don’t work at one RUN!!

Love this video I will definitely use this info unfortunately I have been in the call center industry for 5 years started as just a new job I’m at my 3rd call center pays well but the amount of abuse from customers and management is ridiculous. I literally don’t think I want to work at another call center job ever again.

Its crazy !!! i didn’t know any better but because the pay was good i took a call center job as outbound sales, so far is pretty ok the company itself is very willing to help and offer you a new position if you don’t like the current one but i have noticed that after a month of taking calls, have made me feel so empty and dead but, im gonna have to stick with it for a bit till i have enough to finish school! Thank you for your videos it gives me hope

Making sure people know and like you so your name comes up in meetings about promotions is a way to play office politics in the corporate world. The politics in call centers are more like things that make you popular in a high school setting. Who has the nicest car, who is the most physically attractive, who has the best pot, and nothing directly related to work. These are predominantly women in lower management making these decisions, and I don't care if this is sexist, but women in call center management get caught up far more in trivial aspects of a workplace and establish a pecking order that causes systemic mismanagement, disorganization and overall job dissatisfaction.

I left the call center to be a correctional officer. Stress went way way down. In fact I took my call center skills and applied it to the job. Had a guy pants flapping in the fan against the rules but I told them why take it down so he can explode. Guy is already mentally unstable. Has to do my hob focus on what's importand and keep my guys de escalated.

I quit my call center job today. I gave a two weeks notice and a couple of days later I received an email that I was now being monitored because of my enhanced security or something. And that an analyst was going to monitor any and everything I have done, emailed, printed, searched on the Internet, my conversations, ECT. And not that I've done anything wrong, but it made me feel like I was being targeted and I quit. OMG. I feel peace now. I don't ever want to return to that company again. 🤮
That was the only company that I worked for that I could not email anything to my personal email. And printing either PDF or by paper was almost prohibited.

Well, I'm currently working in a call center because of money. But I have many insecurities before I apply for that job and now I'm about to quit (of if they laid me off) due to the metrics I'm having, if they don't provide a way to continue to work for a couple of months.
And I'm aware about these kind of jobs after I googled it and watched some videos about the experience working there.
If they fire me, it's not a big deal.

I compare employers looking for workers as going to the grocery store. At the store, you buy what you need, and you pick the best product at the cheapest price. That's the way employers choose employees. To them, older workers are like moldy fruit and vegetables you see at Aldi's.

There should be a hollywood cinema based on this modern day slavery.
It should portray every shitty thing employees face day in day out in a CC...(sales and non-sales call center)
we have had couple of movies earlier but it did not show much of anything...they need to make full fledged movie on this crap filled industry.
    on a different note...
I think agriculture/animal husbandry and off grid life is quite good if you are ready to work.

I've been sharing these videos with all my call center peers in my contact list ... And that's good to see the merch to promote discouragement of call centers.. So much need them..
