    This was such a pleasant way to finish up my lunch break.... Watching the build process across all your videos has really broadened my understanding of planning for assembly and when to cut what, when the glue up, when to bevel edges, etc... Thank you so much.

      What a great perspective! Thank you for that! I never thought about it that way.

      I’ll be honest, it can lead to some design block for me.... I make a plan then think, uh oh, how/when do I do this part?
      If leather were cheap, I’d just cut first and fix later... 😂

    • @MasconLeather
      @MasconLeather  4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I have 200+ hides of leather. Varying worth. The “first” of every design I grab a cheap hide and make a quickie. To ease the stress. And make it more about fun then perfection. It works every time. Joy is as relevant as productivity. 👍

    I realize I'm late to this party, but... I'm making my own version of what you call "The Emily," and I'm hoping you'll give me some general guidelines on how to calculate the length of the strips for the wristlet, for a guven width/thickness. Thanks for work; I think I've watched all your videos!

    So, I have given it much thought as I re-stocked my leather tooling equipment after more than 30 years. I have decided my work bench needs an 'Olivia'. Where might one acquire such a robust poseable mode? Maybe that will help the quality of my work that has gone stale after so many years of inactivity.
