She/he can no longer wield the sword of the creator and is no longer directly connected to the goddess (hence why her/his hair is back to dark blue). In any case, since the sword of serios (as well as other pseudo relics such as flayns staff and seteths spear) doesnt have the same consequences as a regular relic weapon its fitting that she would use it, being the new Pope and the grandson/granddaughter of rhea who went under the name of serios.
