    Awesome! I will be attending on Saturday. I plan to wear my 3D printed Stormtrooper armor. I'd love to take a pic with you if we cross paths.

    Good day Cris, that is very satisfying to reach this milestone after so much meticulous labor- it has to be acknowledged appreciatively. I still value your highlighting the lesson of not being paralyzed by perfectionism. You have a superb result here! Really. Just going through the comments shows that its been received well. Hoping the gloss coat tackiness dries to your liking without too many bugs or artifacts. At the time of writing I see the Texas humidity is quite high with a bit of rain expected. Thank you for sharing as you do all this work. Connecting with Peter Weller would be interesting for the story. Nice building such anticipation as a possibility. However, you continue to make an inspiring story of your own guiding your own destiny so to speak. The other valuable lesson that comes through is not just following a passion, but one where others are pleased simultaneously as a factor. And that's just excellent. To me, this Robocop iteration is a down to earth fire fighter named Cris Bosh who would probably humbly and modestly deflect! That's my genuine gush for today. Greets from CPT SA peninsula-

      That's so kind of you Matthew and your comments are always so encouraging! I'm sure with such a positive attitude that you yourself are a blessing to others as well.

    It’s funny you mention the color. Those of us that have built R2-D2s learned, the movie droids uses a Wimbledon white which in person looks almost tan. Put that under some lighting and it’s white! So Rustoleum Satin white is what most use!

      Really? I didn't know that. That sounds too awfully familiar with trying to get the paint half decent with this suit. I remember the same effect happened with Superman the movie in 78 where JorEls outfit was photo reactive whereas in person it was dark gray but on 35mm film the fabric turned bright glowing white. Crazy how film cameras do that sort of stuff. I appreciate your sharing that. It can get frustrating trying to get the paint right by what you think you see in the movie but in person it looks completely different.

    I'm definitely a big fan of the character Cop known as ROBOCOP. When it first came out I was totally hooked. My favorite part of the movie is when ROBOCOP blows up Ed 209. I was thinking take that ya piece of junk lol 😄💖 and then Ed's legs were the last thing twitching lol 😄💖

    Gregor Punchatz painted the suits for the first two movies, not sure about Robo3 but I think he painted it too. He’s a cool dude and pretty responsive on social if you should have any questions. 😉

    Maybe i missed it, but how much infill did you used in this print?

    • @ChrisBoshProps
      @ChrisBoshProps  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think most of the suit is about 25 percent infill.

    Definitely better than your last 👌
    And forgive me for being REALLY anal, and i couldn't do as a quarter good job, but it still seems too light, and not dark blue enough, and probably too glossy.
    But that could be because of the camera, as you mentioned.

    • @ChrisBoshProps
      @ChrisBoshProps  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you. It's much bluer in person the camera doesn't pick it up well due to the lighting reflection. But like I said I tried to mimic the actual screen used suit which didn't have much blue and was more green in color and light. The suit only seemed dark in the movie because of the lighting and 35mm camera. I appreciate the comment!
