Did you know about 2-3 out of 1,000 children born in the United States are born with detectable hearing loss in one or both of their ears?!

I am one of those blessed few, chosen to stand out on this world with complete hearing loss in my right ear.
My mom found this out when I was 3 years old and it has been something I have been struggling with for years
with the thought always in my mind, if I ever lose hearing in my left ear I will be completely deaf.
That’s sometimes a scary thought to have.
