I want to share a little piece of my heart with you all.⁣
This project is so very important to me for many reasons.⁣
The main one being, I hid for a long time that I am half deaf out of fear.⁣
Only close friends and family and some associates knew.⁣

I didn’t want to be seen as disabled.⁣
I didn’t want people to have to change their lives to accommodate for me.⁣
I also didn’t want to give people another reason to talk about and make fun of me.⁣

I thought this to be the perfect time to release this video due to the fact that the deaf and hard of hearing community is having a rough time during this pandemic communicating.⁣
Most of us rely on reading lips to communicate effectively, and the fact that most people are masked to protect from Covid-19, makes it extremely difficult to communicate.⁣
Especially if you do not use ASL. ⁣
