I never used to like Miranda I always thought she was a judgemental bitch but after rewatching the show I quite like her she just put up this tough facade but deep down she was a loyal and supportive friend just like Samantha was except she didn't judge she accepted people as they are and even though she didn't always agree she supported their choices. My favourite Miranda and Samantha scene was when Samantha babysat Brady and let Miranda take her hair appointment.
