Colin was telling police he wanted a foster home before he killed his mother. No foster parents would agree to take him, even if Child Protection did ask, which they would not, with his history
Psychologists and Psychiatrists are reluctant to diagnose "children" as they are still growing. We can all guess what his diagnosis will likely be, when he is an "adult." So so scary, this young man.

Court TV cut the audio of his mother gurgling trying to speak for help. He sat there seeing and listening to his mother suffer and die.
Good tip, defendant told 911 she can’t wait for an ambulance! 911 operator told him, you called 911, now I’m getting an ambulance to you. Shows how important those minutes are when helping someone in an emergency. Either you get them in the car or you call 911. You have to evaluate how far away you are and streets you would have to take to get to a hospital safely including red lights.

This is tragic especially when this kid kept saying to authorities (DCF) he didn't want to go with his mom but yet over and over he was returned. Its upsetting that others aren't held accountable also I mean how many ways did this kid cry out telling Adults people in a position to help but allowed his mom to control the handling. DCF had taken children from parents for way way less issues. Not to mention they knew the mom was doing drugs but I haven't heard of what dcf required the mom to do i.e. drug testing. When you hear about this murder it's presented putting collin in bad light but listening to the evidence I don't feel this kid is at fault . look at what the mom posted on 9/7/24 on her Instagram page makes me feel like she was in a weird mindset almost to point of instigating her son go to harm her very sad.

You’re on the wrong trial. This is a kid who stabbed his mother.

It's an abject failure of the jury system that a court takes this looneytune's not guilty plea seriously. We need to have grand juries deliberating on whether the prosecution has such overwhelming evidence of guilt that a not guilty plea will not be accepted and a plea bargaining phase can be heard by a judge or jury.

No. No. So messed up. I can see right through this!! Mom only lied about his grandma being terminally ill so the probation officer would let him leave the county without being in trouble! She actually DID have cancer tho which sadly 98 percent of the time does eventually lead to terminal.
She didn’t do suicide by son!! Judge was very negligent the entire time. Side eyed the 911 call the entire time and clearly is on the brink of retirement and doesn’t want to be there! He even interrupted the jurrors !!
The recordings the son had was only his side. Making her look like the crazy one. Saying she’s lied her whole life is so so unfair and so so sad she’s not getting justice. I don’t hope he unalives his grandma. But I do hope she’s to the inch of her life cuz death is too easy. She should suffer the way Collin’s dad and mom did. The kid said in the past he wants to be a foster kid !! And said he wants to smell the blood from the neck.
And. If IF SHE did grab the knife first or was after he DRAGGED her inside. The lady next door who was from “Chicago “ was from there many years ago. Yoire in tbe richy rich suburbs you’re not numb to Chicago life no more she should have called. EVERYOME FAILED THIS WOMEN!!

Omg you can hear his mother initially.. he must still be killing her . Maybe he thought she was dead and she regained his consciousness or dared to desperately get help once she heard him on the call. This is HARROWING. He knows all this aswel! That’ll be why he asked to leave
