@StarkMevens input shortcuts are infact alowed on pads, google it. its the actual inputs for the moves, sf4 alows alot of leniancey in the inputs, hence there are shortcuts. eg. dp can be done by diagonal downx2
@chunseonglee if you are using a stick, drum/slide your finger from fierce (c.hp), to HK, MK, SK, MK, HK. The kicks takes 5 kick registers to come out. If you drum it that way it will come out if you do it fast enough. You must slide and hit the second roundhouse before the animation of the c.hp ends.
@mrbucket1337 Button mapping is permitted for all tournament participants in many tournaments regardless of control method. Chun li does not have any shortcuts for her moves beyond legs, which is not even a true shortcut. It is very, very difficult to pull off any shortcuts for links on pad unless you have a quick thumb, mash the link, or switch a hand to a "stick" position and plink it the "correct" way.Chun does not need half of the execution of say, Ryu. It's a Chun thing. And preference.
I play both Stick and Pad in a High Casual Level... I can say that there's PROS and CONS for both controllers... Dashing techs are EASIER in Pad than Stick... Some inputs like FADC Combos too... However... It's impossible to Plink (MP~LP - MK~LK) on pad... Or make Piano Techs Perfectly... Look at Shizza in this Fight... The BASIC punish combo for Chun is HK~EX LL~Ultra... And He does cLK~EX LL~Ultra because he can't get the Buffer of HK~EX LL... It's almost impossible to do it on pad!
@mrbucket1337 You can get away with pad usage on pretty much any fighting game with practice, besides some people just like the pad more to be able to hold it rather than lay it down on a surface or their lap like an arcade stick. Besides some people may find it either easier or more challenging using a pad so it's upto preference.
@mrbucket1337 input shortcuts? WTF? those aren't allowed or even possible on most pads. and anybody, i mean ANYBODY, can hit all 3 punch or kick buttons at once on a stick. having L1 instead of PPP makes absolutely zero difference. i would think that with all these great pad players (Shizza, Inthul, Wolfkrone, Vangief to name a few) placing so well in tournaments, people would realize that the only reason sticks are prevalent is because that's how most of the pros grew up playing.
@DgDynasty The problem is I don't see him as good enough to give lessons. It looks like from what i've read he's got a misplaced ego problem. This is like Kevin Federline grooming the next Justin Timberlake and expecting everyone to take him seriously.
Those announcers sure are nutriders. Valle a teacher? I haven't seen any video of him that looks like he has a chance to be somebody important on xbox live.. Much less a "teacher to the new generation".
@xzalis I play on xbox live (casually might I add). I'm only in the 2500BP range and I play FAR better Ryus than this. No i'm not kidding. He fails at execution, combos, and he's a wakeup SRK scrub. His entire "footsies" routine is just stepping in and hitting D+Forward to Hadouken all match. Take this match for instance, Shizza is pulling off juice EX legs combos which require timing and executing far above D+Forward Hadouken over and over. He's just not tourney material. I'm sorry.

Shizza, when will you return?

This game was one of the best games of the tournament. Amazing Skills by shizza!
Anyone got any advice on how to pull of crouching.LK to EXLegs consistently?
I can't seem to get it right..
How does he piano on a pad?
@mowgli123456789 they used the ps3 console but they can use an adaptor to use 360 controller. but in shizza's case, he used a madcatz fight pad.
if they use pad do they just use xbox pad?? or do they have a choice
@mrbucket1337

i've been play'n w her lately and i love the fast back dash. its great for resetting a bad setup or baiting.
@Edwin1503 well if you can do better than Shizza than i would like to fight you....xbox360 or ps3 you pick
SK ? What's SK ?
@JoFoo2 top players in japan didnt even play on consoles... they actually have arcades
I miss Shizza... R.I.P Chun-Li
@Aedynx double talk crouching lk twice for each hit. so double tap, double tap, then double tap lk and mk twice and ex should come out clean
@donangry he did some live streams to help ppl in the game. He's good, I respect him for giving free lessons unlike JWong, Marn & Mike Ross
Alex is really good. I wonder why I never see him win tourneys. Oh well, Marn, Mike Ross, Wong (nowadays), and lots others are basically the same. ...

Shizza's last game is sic. Best Chun ever.

wow shizza's using a pad in a tournament, i respect that!!!
shizza representing the pad players
it seems like a new breed is comming and all the old ones are losing their touch allex floe nor justin was even ranked top ten

nothing wrong with playing on a keyboard :D whatever you feel like using, use it.
I love Shizza :)
I loooooved the part at 6:22

Is it really that big of a deal to be a Pad player? Sticks are way out of my league
@chunseonglee Just get the kicks to register after the FIRST hit. Easier to do for me from j.HK to c.HP
Those announcers sure are nutriders. Valle a teacher? I haven't seen any video of him that looks like he has a chance to be somebody important on xbox live.. Much less a "teacher to the new generation".
in my opinion option selects ruin a big part of the game
@Edwin1503 This Chun is the best in the world...
@mowgli123456789 not normal xbox pad
@donangry Valle would smoke a lot of people on Xbox live. Online is filled with a lot of noobs and people who do not play at tourneys.
I like Chun Li, but... those thighs... They're as big as Ryu's!!
@MegaHello12345 naw, Nuki Chun out of Japan is a bit better
@xzalis I play on xbox live (casually might I add). I'm only in the 2500BP range and I play FAR better Ryus than this. No i'm not kidding.
