This is quite refreshing to be honest. A lot of blockes in the camping, overlanding and offroad scene always look at the land cruisers and full sized trucks as the best out there. You truly don't need to spend 250 thousand + dollars on mods to go out there.
Yeah mate it’s crazy, currently in WA and watching em go round is wild, if they can good on them, but I think it puts off people thinking they can’t travel
@nomadsandsam that's true. It's put me off a lit actually mainly because of the pricetag of those rigs. I'll have to wait until I'm almost 40 and without kids to get one of those...which isn't part of the plan. By the way I'd like to know how many kilos you've got on your dmax and how reliable has it been over the years? If you bought it second hand what tips do you have for the mates who wants to buy one? Cheers and good on you lovely couple 😁
This is so refreshing, the four-wheel-drive/touring industry is convoluted with overpriced rubbish that you definitely don’t need. Whether it be a twin turbo V8 worth over $130,000 or a caravan that weighs nearly 4 t. The four-wheel-drive and touring community has gone a little overboard on TH-cam. Great video guys. Glad you are having a ball
Yes very stoked with it ! And we sit around 3T, we were originally over our GVM, but got rid of our 2 agm’s and a couple other things and put in lithium and that made the difference weight wise

It doesn't matter what car we have but where we are going.
Keep your spirits up and enjoy!! 👍🏻
Absolutely mate ! Thank you too

Absolutely mate, couldn’t agree more! Its become an ego contest and allot of people have forgotten about just going out and giving it crack 🤙
Nice rig there. Doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Great...
Yeah absolutely ! As long as the car it’s self is reliable , should be the standard
Hey this is an awesome video I would love a link to somewhere I could buy that snorkel I’ve been searching but can’t find it anywhere

Nice setup. Just gave me ideas 😊
I’m glad! Which ones you thinking ?
Air compressor installation on the engine bay. Currently using a portable one. Then the tyre pressure deflator.
Nice! Was looking at where to fit a compressor in my RC (identical vehicle)
Yeah it’s definitely worth putting it there ! No dramas overheating yet which is good
You are both awesome.
Thanks for the video.
This helps me out
Happy to help!
Very nice setup. Has everything. What would be your total weight with a full tank of fuel plus you two?

Very nice set up 🤩
Thanks ! Does the job
