I have a 95 730iL 3.0L and I love it. Have owned it for almost 10 years now and mainly sits in my garage looking nice. I like to take it out every now and then because it's so nice to drive. I have a grey interior and there's no way I would ever modify it from factory. I was thinking how beautiful the interior looked on this one until I realised I was being shown pre restoration images. Putting black carpet in instead of all colour matching interior makes it look inferior and like a backyard job to me. Having a matching coloured interior screams prestige and luxury. Which is what these cars are. And I'm seeing a lot of people blacking out the chrome on these. Again, it just makes it look cheap to me. Like someone just wants to use paint to cover up imperfections. Tacky. Chrome for me all the way. The awesome thing about these models is when they were made, the manufacturers knew what they were doing, which is why they were and are so popular. They were a beautiful machine when first rolled out and kept in original condition, they still are. Sure, if people want to change the horsepower under the bonnet then yeah, go for it, but that exterior and interior is almost perfection. Why change it. Still, a very thorough build here and I appreciate the hours of work gone into this, although a lot of hours could have been avoided by just sticking with the original design. Each to their own and as long as the owner is happy, that's what matters. 😊
This is BAT SH1T crazy level of AMAZING ❤ do u want a kidney for it?🤣 loved the brushed aluminium wheels...it looks best. And the build its so clean. Almost stock. And that ESS S62 AMAZEB@LLS ...perfect sleeper ❤
Beautiful craftsmanship. Such attention to detail!!!. Love every build. Dont let me get a hold of a 740 shorty and some extra cash because you will have some work to do!!!!!
I love my E38 and E39. There’s a guy I believe in Hungary who put a supercharger on an E38 750i V12 and added a manual transmission. The S62 is a great power source, but I’d take the V12.
I'd never personally manual one of these. I'd keep the auto, or go 8hp. These are not by any means sporty for a manual to be a good option. (From experience, I love the autos now that I'm older) Planning on doing an 8hp 750il
It's leather paint, it holds for a long time if done properly. I have done my steering wheel with leather paint and it's over a year now daily driving and still nothing changed.
Astounding car. If I may be so bold as to suggest what would truly put the cherry on the icing, get some custom M7 badges made. I think it would be worthwhile contacting BMW and showing them the car. I'd say there's at least a chance they would make them for you gratis.
Definitely a nice build. Easy enough to do the 6 speed swap on an e32 or e38, but the s62 in place of the m60/ 62 is even better. Hard to go wrong with those ITB's singing! Then the ESS Vortech compressor on top of that! What did you do for a flywheel/ clutch setup? The OEM dual mass is so damn heavy and swapping to a single mass LTW one like a JB Racing is such a huge upgrade. Eliminates a ton of parasitic drag on the engine, and makes the rev-up/ throttle response night and day. Some of the best mods on the 6 speed cars along with the 3.15 or similar LSD. What are you running for a diff and exhaust? Looks like you are running an extended/ modified UUC DSSR too. I've found on that the e60 545i OEM shift lever makes a great upgrade as an OEM lever that is considerably shorter and works on the 6 speed cars the best, unless you're running something like a UUC EVO3, AA Tuning, Rogue Engineering one, etc. Pretty cool that you live in VA. Must be a nice benefit to live so close to Bimmerworld! Thanks for sharing!! 👍😎
AWESOME work! Love the E38, such a beautiful car! BMW at its greatest! The E31 is also one of my favorites... 😍Compare it to those horrible looking models of today... 🤢🤮 What have the designers been smoking? 🤔
Now this is a amazing craftsmanship, whoever did the car took it to the next level. Shit looks better than most of the VIP style cars. Clean indeed, salute 👌
He did better.. he showed us . A real car guy can know everything by just looking at the work put into the car. Nothing he could have said would have described it any better .. it’s a work of art. Just sit back and Let your eyes enjoy the fruits of his labor ..
M7 ? Combination of executive class-luxury and stiff sport set up was always a bit bizarre combo. Even Alpina B12 had comfort suspenssion and stability to power quotation was solved with 20" rims....Nevertheless...head down...this buld is magnificant work anyway! Once I was thinking about going from the other side...take Chevy Impala 1993, swap 6-speed stick and put it on bags...
I didnt get this i have an an E38 728I green pearl white inside with green and wood looks better than this . and my wife has a Moyra ,better than mine .
i didnt see any 560hp,,it was around 420hp or rather 420whp,,and that not much more then normal e39 m5 engine,,this cant have been an s62 engine,,maybe a n62 or m62 but nowhere neaR A supercharged S62 engine with a supercharger
This is the most gorgeous 7 series I’ve ever seen inside and out.😍 Giant respect to whoever built this stunning gem of an automobile.👏
Absolutely brilliant, love the original look and the ultimate sleeper qualities of this build.

Most beautiful modern sedan 🥰
Excellent job with this project. This BMW E38 7 series turned out to be excellent! Great job.
A beautiful white, pure work of love, art and soul.
That is one of the most beautiful cars I’ve seen ~ Amazing total restoration
Thank you

me too. So sad to hear BMW will no longer make a production vehicle with the v12
@@nwabuezeozuzu6370 they have a new 7 series out right now with a V12

Planning on doing an 8hp 750il
Incredible job. I wish I had half of your skill set!
What a fabulous car.
Crasiest build/restoration I have seen in a long time, if I could do half of this to my e38 I would be real happy 😂
Wow wow.. Amazing
I would put an M7 logo on the trunk! Beautiful 😍
I wonder how well the painted leather holds up over time. Looks AMAZING

One of my favorites BMW luv the manual just like the movie The Transporter
It still looks just like when it was freshly done. I'm still in touch with the current owner
My respect for what you've created...really beautifully done 👍
Thank you!
A sportier front bumper would be great, or maybe just a lip... Otherwise super build !
Не нужно лишнего
The b7 front lip always looks good on a e38
Thank you for this beautiful build ! What a car ! Bravo ! 👏

totally badass! it was like a brand new car after you were done with the build

A thing of beauty....
This was my build
Do you have a full video? I have a 740il that I wanna make a sleeper, not many e38s here
Nor not many information about them, that I can find at least:(
Gorgeous.

Beautiful build - awesome! And this thing screams "Autobahn"! ;-)

Hey what aftermarket headunit is that?? Looks great!
Great build! How long did you work on this project?? Taking S62 engine is such an excellent choice!

How much will you charge to turn my 2001 bmw black 740i to be like this , everything you did except trans swap and rims
That is a million dollar car!
Can you drop the parts list ? Especially the manual conversion
I have to know how you did the screen.
funny how the standard M Parallels look the tidiest
Love that supercharger
engine sound though!
Yes I was also interested in you LSD set up and exhaust?
❤
I am wondering if it is possible to buy BMW e38 (740i)sport one with a manual gearbox with a 6 speed m62 v8 cylinder?
Can you built one more for sale??
a 35 minute slideshow. lmao I thought the guy would at least talk about the car

i would rather use twin turbo settup on a S62 then supercharger,,and if i think a twin screw would be a better choise
No you wouldn't because no one really has twin turbo s62's. Shut up.
