Like stated in the video this knife is by no means new to the market but is deserving of a video in 2020. If you are looking for a great fighter and like the Tanto style then pick one up before its too late!!

I’m with you on that one lol. I need to break down and get my hands on some of the newer stuff slowly coming out. The last one I got was the Poker which has been an awesome lil edc blade.

I emailed tops they said this is still in production, but currently out of stock. She didn't say when they but, I'm guessing they will be back beginning of 24
Really?? Not surprised. Although heavy, it still makes a great tactical knife. I wish they still made the drop point version as well but they discontinued it about 5 years ago or something like that. Btw keep an eye out for the Medusa. Will be released at Shot Show in January. That’s my latest design with them.

Yeah it’s a great knife. It’s bulky and heavy compared to the 4.0 but it’s really more of a fighter style knife than anything. Don’t get me wrong it has a sharp edge and will cut great, but the 4.0 is way more versatile and can be carried very easily and discretely. If I had to choose between the two it would be the CUT 4.0 all day long. Plus it has way more carry options than just the rotating clip like the Sky Marshal.

Good review but i have one question. Whats the use for the little saw part at the blade because i think its to short ?
Those are the serrations. If you needed to cut some rope or paracord really fast, those help dig into it to start the cut. They don't necessarily need to be all the way down the blade like on a steak knife or something. That short little section is usually all you need. Especially on this bad boy.🍻
Great knife that caught my eye. I think the name sums up the best application. A durable penetrator for defense. May make a great anti-carjacking piece. Suggest you write down your notes to guide your narration.
I totally agree on that one. I've actually stabbed it into an old car good and it barely even scratched it lol. But yeah this was one of my first videos I recorded after getting out of the hospital from a really bad infection that spread. I wasn't in the best of health and could barely put a sentence together without having to stop and think about it. But me actually doing these videos helped me get to where I could speak again without having all the fogginess. I've considered deleting the older ones like this but ultimately its been part of my journey so I figured I'd leave them up. Merry Christmas btw🎅🍻
yea it was sad to see the sky marshall hp go out of production i was able to grab a spare on knifeworks inc they may still have one available
Yeah I totally agree. Its such a beast of a blade. I wonder if it just didn't sell like they thought it would or something. I'll have to go check Knifeworks out asap. I'd love to snag one up. Thanks.🍻

If SHTF and I needed to pick 1 good combat knife to carry, this would be it. I don't even think they make them anymore so whatever stock people have left is it. Lemme know what you think of it. What is steel for this?
It's the differentially treated 1095. They pretty much just use that or the 154cm on all their blades. They do both quite well.👊🍻
This is my field knife I've owned allot tops knives & other high quality expensive knives after really puting then to use the sky marshal was the one that fit all the criteria I needed for a fixed blade
It’s a tank. Too bad YT made me delete about 6 months worth of videos last year because I did a field test with it. That thing split wood batoning like cutting open a stick of butter. That thick spine wound literally open logs up like if I was using an axe. I eventually landed on the Tops SXS as my go-to. Its more suitable for the outdoor type stuff but if I could ever find a clip point Sky Marshal then that would 100% take its place. But yeah, if you haven’t tried the SXS yet then I highly suggest it. When combined with its bigger brother the SXB then its an unstoppable combo.

Lol probably not. But that’s Tops for you... Honestly it’s not an easy carry at all, especially if you already have a ton of gear on you or for basic edc. The extra weight does help quite a bit with penetration though. This thing will go through a car hood like it’s not even there.
