I have been carrying a fake for the past few months that’s the only reason I know this I hope you didn’t pay too much for it

I’m not sure who told you that, but that’s wrong. Literally ALL Becker knives are marked with “Olean, NY USA.” Plus, I only shop from reputable dealers who get their knives directly from Kabar. I don’t buy from Amazon or eBay because of the fakes. This one came directly from SMKW on the very day the bk18 model launched. The easiest way to tell if yours is a fake or not is by taking a razor blade to the traction coating. if you can peel up entire sections without using a stripper compound, it’s fake. Kabars coating will wear down long before it chips off.

This isn’t necessarily an “outdoor” type of blade tbh. More EDC than anything really. Although I’m pretty sure it could handle a lot of outdoor tasks no problem, I usually have a few particular fixed blades I would recommend using before it. 🍻

Really great quality for the money! They have a ton of different versions of it ranging from $60-220ish. This is actually my 5th or 6th one and this close to being my favorite… 👌🏼

Yes! Eventually. Production is nearly complete but they assembled 50 units for Black Friday sales. I believe it still may be a few weeks though before they make it to Amazon. Well, I guess it depends on what you would use it for the most tbh. The piranha is nearly half the size as this model. But if you just need it for basic edc stuff, the piranha can be a convenient little blade. Its capabilities are very limited though… The agent is actually phenomenal for a lot of things. Its capabilities probably double that of the piranha but still feels very similar while carrying. I actually don’t even notice the size difference between the two on the hip. I also think the handle is nearly perfect on the agent, so I would definitely recommend it, if it were me.

If you need a large blade that will survive a nuclear blast (sheath included) and money isn’t an issue, I couldn’t recommend a better company! I want one of the katanas so bad. I might try to pick one up at blade show this year.

We live in such a great time with so many metal compositions they’ve came up with and these guys did tests with different metals and found the one they use to be the best. They make everything to last a lifetime plus some more. How any American should be making their products. There’s many companies selling fancy pocket knives for a grand or more and are fragile tools still even with the price tag. These guys sale amazing products at a very fare price. Show me another knife in which you can baton it and the blade cut through metal and not break or roll or anything. Worth the money and supporting a company with some American blood running through it.

Yeah it was comfortable but I prefer having the handle above my waistband. I ended up making a red cf kydex for it and putting a DCC clip on it. Made a huge difference.

I love my 003 as well but recently put in an order for a 001 and nightstalker cqc. Cant wait.

That can happen to literally any folder with semi aggressive tip. The blade on this is twice as thick as the average folder though. So I would trust this long before I would some BS 8cr Civivi or RPM9 CJRB that costs $25-30 more.

No, nothing outside the realm of reason of course. We have other models better suited for stuff like that. This is definitely more of a basic edc/self defense design for sure. Something to give someone a good tickle if they try to take your lunch money.

That’s weird. I could have sworn I responded to this already… It’s actually 7.5” oal with a touch over 4” on the handle. The width at its widest point is 1” and the blade thickness is 4mm. So it’s gonna be a bit tougher than most things with an aggressive tapered tip. For a budget knife anyway.

Lol I heard that. I just picked up a new minimalist chassis for my Custom Zaffiri g48. Which is already a nail driver of a 9, but with the performance binary trigger and chassis, it’s a freaking scalpel . Yeah we’ve been sort of nonchalant about promoting it so far since it’s a limited release. But here lately the reviews have started pouring in putting more eyes on it. We’re not really expecting them to last much longer at this point. I’m actually expecting 3 more different models to arrive in the next couple months anyway so I may hold back a few to get modded before they’re gone.

Hell yeah! I’m surprised anyone seen this video. TH-cam has been flagging everything I post lol. But yeah, you are definitely in for a treat. I’ve carried mine almost every day since around Blade Show when I got it. Bob and Tim did an amazing job with it no doubt!

That’s awesome! We definitely appreciate it!! We actually put a lot of work into this design. We wanted something relatively small and practical but with big capabilities. After going through about 5 different versions of it we finally landed on this one. So far everyone has seemed to love it, thankfully lol. But yeah, only 120 pcs for now. If we do decide to revisit it, it will probably be a wharny or sheepsfoot. Also if we do… It probably won’t be anytime soon because we have 3 other designs already in production and 3 more planned right behind it slated for release under the DC banner. I have considered leasing it out to another company to make a budget version, but I honestly don’t think I’m going to. I kinda like the “small and exclusive” thing tbh. 🙏🏼👊🏼

Yuuuuup! If a ring isn’t inline with your finger orientation, then I rarely waste my time with it. I’m sure it’s much better on a Delica or Pm3 like I mentioned. But this was just ridiculous lol. I actually have 3 ringed designs in production between now and spring, but all of which feel completely natural in hand and doesn’t force your hand to an unbalanced grip.
