That can happen to literally any folder with semi aggressive tip. The blade on this is twice as thick as the average folder though. So I would trust this long before I would some BS 8cr Civivi or RPM9 CJRB that costs $25-30 more.

That’s weird. I could have sworn I responded to this already… It’s actually 7.5” oal with a touch over 4” on the handle. The width at its widest point is 1” and the blade thickness is 4mm. So it’s gonna be a bit tougher than most things with an aggressive tapered tip. For a budget knife anyway.

Lol I heard that. I just picked up a new minimalist chassis for my Custom Zaffiri g48. Which is already a nail driver of a 9, but with the performance binary trigger and chassis, it’s a freaking scalpel . Yeah we’ve been sort of nonchalant about promoting it so far since it’s a limited release. But here lately the reviews have started pouring in putting more eyes on it. We’re not really expecting them to last much longer at this point. I’m actually expecting 3 more different models to arrive in the next couple months anyway so I may hold back a few to get modded before they’re gone.

Hell yeah! I’m surprised anyone seen this video. TH-cam has been flagging everything I post lol. But yeah, you are definitely in for a treat. I’ve carried mine almost every day since around Blade Show when I got it. Bob and Tim did an amazing job with it no doubt!

That’s awesome! We definitely appreciate it!! We actually put a lot of work into this design. We wanted something relatively small and practical but with big capabilities. After going through about 5 different versions of it we finally landed on this one. So far everyone has seemed to love it, thankfully lol. But yeah, only 120 pcs for now. If we do decide to revisit it, it will probably be a wharny or sheepsfoot. Also if we do… It probably won’t be anytime soon because we have 3 other designs already in production and 3 more planned right behind it slated for release under the DC banner. I have considered leasing it out to another company to make a budget version, but I honestly don’t think I’m going to. I kinda like the “small and exclusive” thing tbh. 🙏🏼👊🏼

Yuuuuup! If a ring isn’t inline with your finger orientation, then I rarely waste my time with it. I’m sure it’s much better on a Delica or Pm3 like I mentioned. But this was just ridiculous lol. I actually have 3 ringed designs in production between now and spring, but all of which feel completely natural in hand and doesn’t force your hand to an unbalanced grip.

Yup! These cost much more actually. Sorry TH-cam doesn’t like showing me my comments anymore. Just seen this by chance. But yeah, the smallest knife you see is a little over 1000 bucks. The bigger swords are close to 3000. Worth every penny, though. There are certainly tough blades.

I’m with you there! I have about 6 other designs like it otw from several different companies, including DC.

Sorry but I haven’t received any exact confirmations on the release yet. I do know that they are gunning for it to happen before Shot Show in January though. Im gonna add a section to the website to sign up for notifications on very soon. Once we know for sure I plan on sending one out to everybody who has signed up for it.

Nice! I think my favorite is the basic milled version. It looks phenomenal and has grown on me quite a bit.

It would probably be the next coolest thing to actually having wolverine claws…🤣 All jokes aside I think people are going to really respond well to it once they actually get it in hand. I designed it based on several other designs of mine and it’s meant to handle like a regular knife. Like, surprisingly so… It can either be used in the kitchen or be turned around and used for “other things.” It was actually hilarious watching people at Blade Show handle it. They would look at it all weird, then once they picked it up there was a “nod of approval.” I watched at least a thousand people do it… 🤣

I wouldn’t say it rusts easily at all tbh. Actually the only bit of oxidation I’ve seen is where I cut some weird plant and just barely wiped it off on my leg. Not properly cleaning off the acidic residue… Ultimately it cleaned off with the rough side of a dish sponge pretty easily. I actually carry around these 2 small round tin cans of Wicked Wax everywhere I go. Along with a microfiber cloth just to keep everything as protected as possible. Check it out if you can. Basically It’s wax based that can go on literally anything.

Yes, but apparently people complained about it so much that they changed it. I would NEVER ruin my trademark design because of someone else’s opinion. It’s ridiculous and they absolutely ruined it.

Sorry just seeing this. VG10 is a pretty decent steel. A lot of kitchen knives are made with it because of its high resistance to rust and oxidation. The edge retention is close to 14c28n but maybe a little bit less than it. The good thing is that it sharpens up pretty quickly with just a good quality ceramic rod. Definitely a great steel for the price imo.

That’s awesome, congrats!! Once you get tired of the traction coating check out my video on how to remove it. Was the best decision I ever made. It actually makes it perform sooo much better. It’s a noticeable improvement when you have it in a bind. Like batoning or de-barking.

I actually still carry this in my edc bag. It has served me well over the past few years. Glad you were able to snag one. They’re pretty much non existent now in the states.
