In my point of view, I don't think AKA and Anele had a healthy love relationship from the word go, it was evidently toxic. But they both thought that 'toxicity' was love. I feel like they both knew they weren't good for one another but chose to hold one to that bad side cause they were so scared of letting that darkness go. However with Nadia, we saw a different side of Aka... healed, optimistic, soft yet so strong from bouncing back from the trauma of Anele committing suicide. Everything about the 2 was unquestionably and genuinely beautiful. It's true when they say we all have to go through rough times to truly find the 'one' for each and everyone of us. I'm so so sorry Nadia has to go through such pain, but more than anything I'm happy she got to experience it in this life.
Just replying from the first sentence ,AKA and Anele were a typical bad example and toxic relationship.
Reasons are one of both of them had to heal or discard certain elements ....
I feel SO BAD for Nadia 😞😞 when she said “we’re home bodies & we like staying at home a lot” I just wished he was at home that day 😞😞 what a horrible way to lose the man you love. You can tell they loved each other a lot 😢😢😢 May his killers be found & justice be served. My condolences go out to AKAs family & Nadia.

For the people who didn't like AKA or his personality, it seems as though he portrayed a character due to him being a hip-hop artist. Through the lens of the ones closest to him, he was a kind, warm-hearted, gentle, fun soul. Nadia is trying to explain his romantic gesture, and he shuts it down immediately. The hard-core image he portrayed was simply to be in character for the hip-hop world but he was a softie at heart & it seems like nadia brought these traits out in him even more. I think if AKA was ever toxic or violent in his relationship,it was only with the late Nelly Tembe because with Zinhle and Nadia we saw a completely different man
@Lyndie M Nobody will ever know the full story, and perhaps nobody should. There are stories & speculation & then there is also the truth & the fact is he wasn't charged for anything.
Being in a toxic relationship in this day and age is so common because we live in a totally different time & people like him are watched with a magnifying glass. I just wish both for Kiernan and Anele's family to find comfort & peace. 💜 Two beautiful souls lost but not forgotten.
This is so true, well at least, my observation throughout this mourning period. I got to know a version of him that I never knew, and I wish we got to experience him this way. I'm being told he was at a very good place in his life and this album to come, would've been an experience! RIP AKA
What about the interview about Anele's death where he didn't show any ounce of caring that an argument with led to someone's death. It was like he was talking about what he had for breakfast. Serial killers conduct interviews like that. Absolutely no empathy
@Nothemba Jozi That was not an interview. It was an interrogation. Did anyone show empathy to him at her funeral while he was mourning? He was blamed for her passing but not found guilty, and yet people still point the finger at him. I believe the way he conducted himself in that interview was not because of a lack of emotions but rather him being emotionally intelligent. If he did it or not, what does it matter now? His life was taken away forcefully.
Man he was happy, they were happy, and I pray Nadia heals and gets to experience love like that 10times multiplied. And finds her happiness again🥺

Wow! They looked happy together. I don't even listen to hip hop to be honest but somehow, I like Kiernan's personality. You can tell that he was a lovable person. Someone you can connect with and be real with and somehow, I just felt the shock of his passing. How senseless it was, the brutality of it and also just how evil and wicked the heart of mankind can be, the depth of it is unknown.
I pray that God changes the heart of our nation and calls us back unto him so we can love and be compassionate one towards another. I'm praying for you Nadia, God has heard the cry of your heart, he sees you and he will answer. Prayers to the family and prayers for our broken nation, our broken world.
