My Grandfather used to own a flooring business. If the floor in the kitchen is linoleum, which is highly possible in the 70's, linoleum had high flammability concerns.
About the tiles in the kitchen catching fire. Because of the time period there is a strong chance that it is actually "linoleum" tiles or not tiles at all but a continuous sheet that is is plastic and glued over plywood. The safety rating wasn't as stringent back then and products were regularly dangerous to consumers. Much like asbestos. Unfortunately products like these causing a fire was quite common.
Yay I'm so hyped for this! I love watching ur videos Gab! It's my first year in college and it's been stressful, but ur videos always make my day. So thank you for being you :)

Speaking from personal experience, your headache sounds a lot more like a migraine. I've suffered from these for years, usually getting multiple a week that just refuse to go away. They give me the stiff neck, sensitivity to light, sound and sometimes even smell. Migraines are not normal headaches and should definitely be looked into. Hope you feel better! ❤
Wow, that was some intro. You expect everyone to die; yet the two teenagers escaping you don't expect them to die the way they do. I was thinking simply slip off the house and break their back on the landing; I did not expect them to die the way they did! The creators are definitely trying to set a tone with this intro; let's hope they're able to keep up with that expectation throughout the game. EDIT: Wow, I got a serious case a deja-vu after the first Curator scene. The question now is how is the game going to explain and justify the gamer feeling that emotion? Really can't wait to try this out for myself!
Got curious and looked it up, the plastic style of floor tiling that was likely to be used at that time is reasonably flammable, but nowhere near like in the start of the game. A fire spreads about 13cm per minute. But there *were* floor cleaners being used to freshen up the floors that was quite flammable and would spread the fire in a similar fashion according to my wife. That kind of fire would spread swiftly but not burn too long though. So I guess we can assume they used a polish that was flammable to have the fire spread that fast and powerfully, unless there's some story reason about it.
my exact reaction 😅 it looked more like a school bus. and in the states, school busses don't have seatbelt. (pretty dumb if you ask me. a bunch of kids with no seat belts. makes no sense)
In the 70s everything was highly flammable. I remember Christmas trees burning down houses was a big thing growing up. Also people stuck very flammable foam tiles onto ceilings to be decorative and they burnt houses down really fast.
Something that might work for your tension areas that trigger your headaches is to use a heating pad. You could easily make one with what you already have at home; you pour rice (uncooked) into a sock and put that into another sock (warning, hot rice can burn which is why I mention using two layers of thick socks). You then put it in a microwave and heat it to your liking, when ready you then place the heated pad on the backside of your neck (trapezius region). It is a good way to relax your muscles.
Yeah it’s here!!!👏🏼 So exciting to see you play it. You’re my favourite.🥰 It’s so calming and relaxing but exciting at the same time to watch you play games like this. Love it!!❤️😍 Happy Halloween!!🧡🖤🎃👻

2) Vince saying “there’s no us”, because there’s literally no “us”.
3) the darts haven’t moved positions despite John throwing them. (They we’re all in the centre as opposed to one above the other).

If the floor is linoleum; economical (ergo mediocre) grade? *Yes*
Linoleum was definitely common for homes during the 70's into the early 80's...
@@milkgxng I think I heard somewhere it was the adhesive that was flammable. Definitely not 100% on that though!
They must all be reborn again years alter cause the demo had cell phones. They may not be related by blood but their souls will always be attracted to each other in order for the evil spirit from the witch trials to kill them all in the same place or something.the guy at the bar drinking could've been the guy at the funeral with that strange metallic sun charm .
I love that you play these more than once. It makes the viewing less stressful
8:47 she's so pretty! the red hair, the moon necklace. goals.
I'm only at the intro, but the changes they made to camera direction and composition are PHENOMENAL. I really feel like I'm in a live action movie, and it's all so compelling! The models look fairly believable as well, it's stunning! So glad this vid from you is finally here! x)
Bus crashes:
"I hope they were wearing their seat belts"
Me: Y'all have seat belts on your buses?
You don’t???
@@forgottengoneno seatbelts in England
They rode on a bus called the FARRYMAN. The kept walking in a circle on a straight path. Purgatory.
44:03 "that you will NEVER let me down", if that's a requirement people would be single for life.
I'm so happy that you're playing it. C'est génial!
You are cute Kamille 😍
Hi there!! My mom trains people how to drive busses and there’s several weeks of training and then tests to get the class B license!! Truck drivers have to do even more to get a class A license. At least in the US
I wonder if Vince is the guy at Tanya's funeral, the one who Gab said he was the boyfriend!
Maybe he went on trying to understand what happened and got stuck in this "generation loop", not sure what it is yet.
Dudeee you don't know how comforting it is to hear that someone else finds certain frequencies too much. It could be specific like people yelling/arguing (misophonia), or a lot of the times bass in music (hyperacusis), or if I'm on my side watching something on my phone and can only hear the sound through one ear it's just too much (hyperacusis).
I'm not happy you deal with the same types of migraines/sensitivities as me, but it is nice in a way to know there's someone else out there who goes through what I do. The frequency of some people's voices also get to me when it comes to yelling or high pitches
"Why leave the bus we could be here all night."
I mean....if you walked back down the road you came a few feet there was literally a policeman.
Yes, I did write this comment before the fog, my bad, but I swear there was 101 ways they could have climbed back up to the bus and gotten the fuck outta dodge.
I mean, if Gabby was right about them sleeping when they got pulled over then they wouldn't know about the policeman. The driver could of been an ass and just gone back without them but I'm gonna bet there's more to it
When Taylor said she can match everything John knows with a smartphone, all I heard was the Wii music
"It's not that bad."
*WOOOOSH!*
I cannot stop thinking how Andrew's character model is the guy from We're the Millers 😆
I've been really enjoying your streams and videos lately! Take the time you need and don't overwork yourself. I get headaches a lot too and know that it is hard to keep working when you have them.
I'm really excited for the next episodes! :)
now that ive watched house of ashes I realise that the "big accident" he's talking about 3:23 is Rachel and Eric the crash that cost him his leg
The Curator walks with such a fabulous gait. I love him.
I just love your gameplays. It's so chill and cozy, idk how to explain it!
The absolute vibes that this game is giving off is exhilarating. Reminds so much back to the first time I played Until Dawn. Can't wait for the next part and be sure to take your time a healthy creator is the best creator!
19:27 might be just me, but i like the detail of her acually breaking her neck rather than choking to death.
Me too!! More akin to an actual hanging, where you're "meant" to break your neck
@@milkgxng Yea dont know why she just didnt jumped down, maybe the fance was in the way or some spiky bushes also the fire was all over the place. (18:34)
@@milkgxng The intro had so shitty horror movie logic that it was almost a turn off for me.
Ive jumped and even fallen from higher spots. If options were "to get burned alive" or "breaking a bone" Id rather jumped even from dangerous heights.
"All paths lead to death. No matter their struggle, no matter their triumph they die and that is wisdom."
Calling it now, Vince was Tanya's boyfriend
'can't you just like, step over the railing, and like... hand off the edge?'
... interesting choice of words.
I know I should be focusing on what the Curator is saying, but the ex-Chorus kid is too distracted by Mozart's Requiem-Lacrymosa lmao
the man in the bar saying "see what you can dig up"....chef's kiss
Three things:
1. Just started watching this
2. You weren’t kidding with the title
3. I used to drive a school bus and it is much easier than it seems haha I was terrified when I started training but then it became quite easy :)
Anyone else notice how Vince only responds when Andrew talks to him? Like anytime John says something to Vince, Andrew says something immediately afterwards.
""So much death... what can Man do against such reckless hate?"
Ride out with me; ride out and meet them!
The Horn of Helm Hammerhand will sound in the deep, one last time!
It’s interesting watching the bar scene knowing the end, you can see every time John says something Andrew says something right after, and when he doesn’t Vince doesn’t respond.
Lol when Gab said “I hope people were wearing their seatbelts” all I could think was, we don’t have seatbelts on buses where I’m from.
My Grandfather used to own a flooring business. If the floor in the kitchen is linoleum, which is highly possible in the 70's, linoleum had high flammability concerns.
I love your voice and articulation so much. You could probably read me a dictionary and I would still be intrigued

@@myopidodi3058 thanks for pointing that out. my mistake.
@@sapsap4733 yeah I made a whole list of the names while watching Jack's playground to keep track of who he was talking about

Yay I'm so hyped for this! I love watching ur videos Gab! It's my first year in college and it's been stressful, but ur videos always make my day. So thank you for being you :)
With that witch hat and the silent hill tattoo on the left arm, I feel we're ready for a "let's summon a demon" video! XD
The game seems pretty cool so far, can't wait for more spooks!
There are so many parallels between this game and the Silent Hill movie. The little girl even looks exactly the same.
Aight
Don't know about this game but I saw everyone wanted u to play it
Let's see what's this all about :D
Happy Halloween y'all 🎃
same, I didnt even watch demo, so head first into what the hell is happening
Okay but when Gab held back John from drinking I got a lil teary eyed. I liked the moment. Idk why.
A little part of me wishes they could have got Peter Stormare back for these and used him as the narrator. He's just so good at being creepy
I've been so excited for this game since it was announced!! so excited to watch you play it!
That spider literally bugged me
Gab’s little smiles and chuckles over finding new details in the game give me LIFE
Gabby: I hope they were wearing their seatbelts.
Me: . . . What seatbelts?
my exact reaction 😅 it looked more like a school bus. and in the states, school busses don't have seatbelt. (pretty dumb if you ask me. a bunch of kids with no seat belts. makes no sense)
I love it when the bus crashed and Gab said hope they were wearing their seatbelts😂.
the beginning of the game when everyone died, remind me of whats that movie series, Final Destination?
For anyone interested, little Mary's accent is Northern English, probably Yorkshire.
Yo I just finished this game with my friend and the ending got me like : *YOOO WHAT THE FUUuuu*
Oh my gosh, looking at Gab and hearing her lil laugh makes me realise that I now stan her.
I notice the bus is called Ferryman. Isn't the ferry man the one who takes the dead on his boat to their final destination after death! foreshadowing?
In the 70s everything was highly flammable. I remember Christmas trees burning down houses was a big thing growing up. Also people stuck very flammable foam tiles onto ceilings to be decorative and they burnt houses down really fast.
Fun fact: Taylor has the same face as the pinup ghost girl from Man of Medan.
Game review on Steam:
Question "What scared you the most while playing the game?"
Answer "Gab's scary spider!" o_O
I absolutely love this game! I've already finished it so now I'm going back to watch basically every youtubers let's play of it.
Yeah it’s here!!!👏🏼 So exciting to see you play it. You’re my favourite.🥰 It’s so calming and relaxing but exciting at the same time to watch you play games like this. Love it!!❤️😍
Happy Halloween!!🧡🖤🎃👻
I literally havent seen anyone realise that the beginning intro song is the same one from until dawn just different people singing it, In until dawn it was a female singer
i noticed it when they hummed but as soon as they said "Wont you spare me over till another year" i knew it was the same song and i got so happy because until dawn is my #2 favorite game
