Little Hope was so much fun! And miles better than Man of Medan, which surprised me since Man of Medan was also a lot of fun to play. The whole team behind these games are super talented and hardworking and I can't wait for the next setting. Keep it up, Supermassive!
IMO: I also think Little Hope is better. The story is more interesting than the Man of Medan. Man of Medan is a bit more horrifying to me, there are a lot of "gore" in the game. Most of the time when you died in Man of Medan is very scary. In Little Hope, it has a very unexpected ending. It turns out you're a bus driver with PTSD. The feeling of the game is darker than the previous one.
Really did! He's just so insanely warm and human, and it shows in a role like this. He just disappears into each character he plays--that's a real actor. And I loved his dynamic with Angela, so what he said about her really made me smile. In fact, the moment where he's like "I don't think Taylor or any girl would be interested in me" and Angela's like "don't say that! I'm sure you have a lot to offer someone" just absolutely melted my heart. That really stuck with me.
I wasn't familiar with Will Poulter as an actor before this game, and I really assumed he was American from his performance! Damn I really didn't notice any weakness in his American accent, wow.
Same lol. But really though, I think most people would think his character was the best out of them all while Angela may be one of the least favorites with her bitchiness.

I KNEW there was something that always felt off about the characters. I had the feeling that they did the motion capture and facial capture separately. It's why there's this disconnect. Compare this to a game like Uncharted (I would say Last of Us but that game is so divisive so yeah lol) or Detroit: Become Human where they do both together ^_^

Was thinking the same thing. Never understand why they use different people for mocap of the body and the face and sometimes use different voice actors as well. Just use the person one actor for a character. But I guess they have a reason for it.
It feels weird to see Anthony irl, like WOAH he exists. Also Little Hope really was a great game, I could see the improvement in visuals and movement from Until Dawn. I also love Angela as a character, she may be cold but she got some real sass, witt, and even strength.

Well there was mental illness in Until Dawn with Josh and his whole prank persona. It may not have been the true threat of the game but it was a major part of the story.

This is so fascinating how they can make the game the way it is. It's mind-blowing but it explains why the animations are so smooth and realistic and also how they can make a game within a year, unless they work on multiple games at a time and do each section at a certain time.

Andrew became my favorite character VERY quickly XD Right from the start, he was the nice(r) guy who wasn't all full of himself or flirty with girls, and he just was really the kind of level headed one of the group. The down to earth type, ya know? Also, like the game, he looks great, so, winner all the way through XD
I really loved this game and how it's main focus was grief. Anthony isn't crazy or seeing things that aren't there, he's a traumatized man who saw his whole family perish at a young age and was blamed for it by the town since he was found with the matches. Since he had to make the detour through Little Hope at the beginning, it was a sort of trigger for him, and he relived everything all over again.

The story in this game is well done. A lot of times we get games that last hours and can be good. But a game like this with a story that has depth is really good.
