Most of my family & friends parents had that metal framed lighted Crucifix picture when I was a kid (in the late 60s), but I don’t think I’ve seen one in probably 30 years. What a beautiful flashback!! ❤️
In one of my Facebook thrifting groups a woman found 2 glassy babies in South Carolina. I would love to find a Blue Bird of happiness. I heard they have other colors too. Lots of great finds!
The Avon bunny was originally a candle holder. I know - I had one I bought from an Avon lady, back in the day. And as far as the potpourri crock you would add water to whatever dry potpourri you had.

I’ve been collecting it for awhile but Crewel is hot right now and finished pieces are going for a lot. Especially floral crewel and if it’s on a colored fabric. Anything mushrooms. That’s what you want to make if you want to sell any right now. Hope that helps.

I found the same yellow bottle at a thrift store the other day with the stopper. It’s made in Italy and it was Empoli. The stopper looks like a flame and it’s called melting wax.
That’s exciting! I thought it was likely vintage because it had such a nice quality to it! I was keeping it for my glass collection so I don’t mind the stopper being gone. But I might look for one on eBay to see if I can find any stoppers. Thanks!
The blue Chinese vase not in style for a while I did collect them years ago now you find them every were for nothing I try to sell them at yard sale no body care also they not really vintage or antique that people really want
Lovely item's today. You really hit the mother load. I don't see anything wrong with picking up religious item's. I've been a Christian for over 40 years. What does bother me are the Buddha and other idols. I wouldn't pick those up.
Personally I feel weird making Money off of Jesus, as a Christian it doesn’t sit right with me. If it’s something I am keeping for myself I don’t mind buying it. Usually that would be scripture based or something like the God Bless you cross stitch at the end of the video.

On a cedar chest like that, you push IN on the lock to lift the lid. You can get replacement keys, or just replace the lock if needed.

I think the chest is a Hope Chest. It looked to be in good condition. They should not have donated it with it locked though. 😓
